[3.0] "This was another relatively dire match, Kalisto did a good job as the face in peril for the majority, but the Ascension were never really good enough to be these dominating heels, they just could not back it up in the ring. El Local (FKA Ricardo Rodriguez) was just terrible, by far the worst performance of the night. Ascension won with the Fall of Man on Local and yeah, this is another skip on the card. Only better than the opener due to Kalisto being serviceable."

[3.0] "[1.75*] A pretty bad match. El Local botched almost everything he tried, and The Ascension was never anything special in the ring. However, they were super over and dominant, it's a shame they never really lived up to their potential."

The Ascension are bad, this is the first non main main roster match of theirs ive seen and i was mildy excited as heard they were much better on NXT they were wrong. El Local and Kalisto are also bad. An unnecessary match"
[4.0] "El Local was a better ring announcer than a wrestler to be honest. The Ascension looked dominant as their NXT run proved they were. Kalisto was the most talented wrestler in the match but he mostly sold and played the babyface in destress."
[5.0] "Basic tag match not worthy of a championship encounter. The Ascension dominate for the most part working over the best wrestler in the match Kalisto who finally tags in El Local who hits a couple of unimpressive moves before being hit with the double team finish."

[3.0] "I love that Ricardo Rodriguez wrestled on an NXT PPV. You'd think that one of the ascension guys might be the worst wrestler in most matches, but El Local made it an easy decision"
[3.0] "Another nothing match to continue the show. There was a decent heat segment on Kalisto but as soon as El Local came in things got sloppy and then it was over pretty quick. *1/2"
[4.0] "Pretty one-sided match here. Ascension had the upper hand mostly with Kalisto gaining some time to show his skills but was done before registering it. El Local is none but Ricardo Rodriguez which is a surprise for me seeing now. 2 out of 5 stars!"

[3.0] "The match wasn't much different from the previous one in terms of quality. Kalisto wasn't even allowed to execute his signature moves, they couldn't create much tension. And El Local was visibly out of shape, moved hard, but still took the pin."

The spot where the Ascension hit the lucha guys with uppercuts to cut off the tope attempts was great, as was the part where Konnor was throwing Kalisto around on the outside. **1/2"
