[5.0] "A chaotic, messy brawl of a match. Quelle surprise. This at least kind of worked, though, it was a perfectly adequate main event match and the crowd definitely got into all the brawling and violence so I can't take too much away from it. I just wasn't super into it, though. I suppose I'm too much of a modern workrate mark for this to really work for me."
[6.0] "Second best match of the show between two big stars of the late WCW with a personal conflict and decent wrestling, which ended in a mass beating. Scott lost by dq, but he looked very strong. 6 points."
[5.0] "Both men did a decent job here, and I get what they were going for with the story, but it just didn't really work. Steiner attacking multiple refs rather than trying to win the title just came across as silly, but unlike most of the rest of the show it was well performed and at least somewhat coherent."
[3.0] "Okay main event match ruined by a dumb finish. They're not allowed to wrestle a huge amount for the first half, it's just a walk-and-brawl to the outside (with no DQs and no count-outs oddly enough). This could be top quality if they were allowed to leave it all in the ring, and we know it. A bit too one-sided. Finish is horrible, with Steiner having it won and then deciding he wants to get DQ'd by attacking refs, which is completely idiotic even by Russo standards."
[7.0] "Without a doubt the second best match of the night on an otherwise absolutely atrocious pay per view event. Booker looked great and Steiner was absolutely brutal, even before the match started. I normally don? t like DQ endings, but this one certainly fit."
[8.0] "This was actually a great match and I am not understanding why it has been so poorly received. Steiner looked fantastic here and this is surely one of his better performances from the Big Poppa Pump era."
[9.0] "This is a GREAT match and an obvious sign of what WCW could have been if they hadn't been run into the ground by horrible booking for the past two years. Booker looks great and Steiner is extremely brutal, the way he devastated Booker in front of his brother was super memorable, too bad nobody was watching anymore to see it."
[8.0] "Stevie Ray in the middle of this match: "What a PPV we have had here tonight. One of our best. Ever. " You know what, Stevie? I agree. Steiner is just booked like an absolute beast here, as he should. Also the introductions here are just priceless: "Known for his Book End finish". "280 and 3/4 pounds". "The Devastating Steiner Recliner has earned him a reputation"."
