John Cena vs. Triple H

[4.0] "It wasn't a great match - it was ok. Felt very much like they had no faith in current stars. HHH in this era was very much an office guy, and Cena was starting out in Hollywood. But saudi money talks"

[5.0] "Whatever big spectacle WWE match. Big moves, playing the classics at a pretty average pace. Pleasantly average considering neither man especially Triple H was at their prime. Not exactly praise that this was better than expected when I expected a far more phoned in match than what was delivered. Still totally inessential"

[5.0] "This very sloppy, slow match, ended up being slightly okay at the end, but everything was predictable here."

[5.0] "Given the stage of Triple H's career, this was as slow as to be expected. Some brighter moments but standard and routine and more for the spectacle (if you can call it that) of the first match at a Saudi PLE."

[6.0] "A pretty solid opener with Triple H specifically looking really good here based on the stage of his career at this point. The counter of the AA into The Pedigree looked fantastic and the crowd was really into this one. The right person went over here and this match was a cool way to start the show. 3 stars."

[5.0] "It's a fine enough match and opener to the show between both veterans and it still serves to this day John Cena's last singles win on PPV."

[6.0] "Like the Undertaker match later in the show, it was exactly what it needed to be. It was far superior however, because both wrestlers had worked with each other on countless occasions before and knew how to make the others offense look good."

[3.0] "Found this match a bit of a slog. Two guys who are past their best just going through the motions. Cena's speech thanking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was pretty nauseating to be honest."

[2.0] "This match sucked in my book, if you like nostalgia with your matches, then you may like this one, but honestly, both men here were way out of their prime Trips was 49 here while Cena was 41. Also Trips pretty much took control almost the entire match with Cena making the 5-minute comeback in his 15 to 20-minute match with the win. "WOOO! "."

[6.0] "For what this match had to be, a nostalgia ride to make the arabian crowd happy, I can give it a sufficiency. The first part is damn boring and the whole match is just a "greatest hits" from both wrestlers, in particular from John Cena, but it was fine for what it had to be. It was also a good idea to put this match as the opener, to make the crowd happy"

[8.0] "Lol why such a low rating? The match was decent, there were a lot of great nostalgic classic moments, good technique and structure of the match, in my opinion a very good match."

[6.0] "This was a solid match especially for two guys out of their prime it had some good moment and the ending was solid. ***"

[7.0] "Perfectly good match with both men doing the greatest hits, and the crowd enjoyed it. Not sure about the post-match promo."

[5.0] "It was the most basic rudimentary WWE style match possible and the crowd loved it. Sure thing. I didn't mind it but they could have done a better job."

[6.0] "This was a good WWE style match from two of the biggest legends in WWE history. It was like a classic hits edition of their usual match with kicking out finishers, going for submissions and then Cena had to hit the AA twice to get the win. (***)"
