Yet all 3 men can do each of these 3 skills to an elite level, and they show it. Just fantastic and i must have seen this match 30-40 times by now."

[10.0] "By far, the best match in TNA history. This is the match that defined TNA at its finest. The talent was so stacked, all three man had such an insane chemistry, battling for a title that was starting to get more relevant than the World Title. They showed athleticism, plenty of athleticism, and also why all of them are in the Mount Rushmore of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling: AJ Styles, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, having bangers in NJPW, WWE, TNA; Samoa Joe, an absolute monster submission machine, alongside the greats of ROH, such as Danielson and McGuinness; and Christopher Daniels, one of the most underrated wrestlers ever, with a lot of cool moments, wrestled for most of the important companies in the world, and had such a great work in-ring and out-ring. I dare say that it's the best triple threat match ever, tied with that WrestleMania XX one. *****"

[9.0] "Triple threat matches are tricky to get right. They usually suffer from a lack of focus, with the chemistry between any given pair of participants never fully getting explored due to the third wheel. While that does happen a tiny bit in this one, this is about as great of a triple threat as you could ever want. Each man gives a clear sense of what they're all about just through their work here. Joe is as, always, an unstoppable force; a powerhouse for sure, but one who also has frightening agility and technique. AJ is a true spectacle, achieving some stunning feats of athleticism here. Daniels is also a great athlete, but I think his character work is what especially stands out to me; he is a great heel! He throws tantrums; he eye-pokes; he tries to disqualify himself; he jawjacks - all that makes it immensely satisfying to watch him get wrecked with kicks, or lose to a flash pinfall. All the work here is buttery smooth; there's not a single thing here that I could really call a 'botch', except for Joe calling spots during his STF. And given how incredible the feats of athleticism in this match are, that is very impressive. There's too many incredible spots to name, so I'll list just a few standouts from each man. AJ's Spiral Tap might be the best I've seen from him, and the shooting star out of the ring is great too; his torture rack on Joe shows that he's crazy strong as well. Joe's corkscrew plancha out of the ring is ridiculous, and almost all of his strikes look like they'd kill me. Daniel's death valley driver showed great strength, and his moonsaults were lovely. For all of it's smoothness, most stuff here also looks nice and impactful. It's moreso the bumping than the long-term selling that achieves this (although we do get some nice sells like Joe's twitchy legs after the Death Valley Driver). Overall, this is a real standout for TNA. It's energetic, fun, and easy to watch. [****1/2]"

This was my first time watching Christopher Daniels, though, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The guy is a great worker and deserves much praise. Of course, I've seen Samoa Joe before. This isn't my favorite match from him, but he was working strongly and surprisingly agile; AJ was the right winner in my eyes."

Look I'm forever biased by being a 6 year who watched this with the rest of the block (we didn't have cable) and thought it was the coolest thing I ever fuckin saw, 20 years later it still holds the title of the coolest match I've ever seen. I don't give a toss if you think this is biased nostalgia baiting, on a rewatch it's a microcosm of how TNA developed the fan base it has now. This is the peak of pro wrestling in the 00s."

[10.0] "That AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels match from TNA Unbreakable 2005 stands as a perfect 5.0-Star classic because the unprecedented athleticism and innovation completely overcame the minor flaw of Daniels' inconsistent selling. The match was an absolute showcase of high-speed chaos, defined by breathtaking spots like Joe's unbelievable corkscrew plancha over the top rope and the surgical precision of Styles' counters, especially the monkey flip-into-hurricanrana combination. It was a history-making performance by three pillars of the X-Division, establishing a benchmark for the industry that remains untouchable nearly two decades later."

The epitome of Total Nonstop Action with three prime athletes just going crazy. When the bell rings at the end, I feel most strongly that Samoa Joe is one of the greatest of all time. What a force of nature in this match. He doesn't play too heavily into the role of the big monster hoss here as he shows off his speed and agility toe to toe with Daniels and Styles. What a animal! That dive Joe did onto the two of them is insane, maybe a top tier dive tbh. This isn't a good review, just go watch this match if you haven't! Deserves all the praise it gets. ****1/2"

I'm partial to the main event of WM20, but as far as bell to bell in ring action, this one definitely takes the cake. This match was 23 minutes of balls to the wall action with no slowing down. The contrasting styles (no pun intended) of each wrestler made it even more exciting. This might have been the original crowd to start the "This is awesome! " chant, and boy did they deserve it. I can't think of another match that has held up as well over a 20 year period. It's wild to think about what AJ has said about this match and how they went home too early. Wonder what else they would have come up with. Well done gentlemen!"

AJ and Joe will go on to get recognition in 15-20yrs but I have to think Daniels will be a forgotten soul who sacrificed in matches like this. [9.0] "[4.5*] For a lot of people this is the best Triple Threat Match of all time. The highest rated here and one of the two 5* by Meltzer. And man, they may be just right. This is honestly a perfect wrestling match, with a total of ZERO flaws throughout the whole match. The dynamic was perfect, both Joe and AJ wanted to beat Daniels for ruining their X Cup Final and that is how things started. This match had one of the best productions I have ever seen, and I am not talking about booking, I am talking about wrestling. This felt perfectly choreographed on the best way possible, they were locked in with each other and the chemistry was just insane. This match has a lot of holy shit moments such as the Spiral Tap pin break-up (which Swerve did on AEW Revolution to pay homage), the Shooting Star Press to the outside by AJ, the super Suicide Dive by Joe, the Styles Clash nearfall I could use 2000 characters to talk about this match. This felt like every thing was positioned correctly and they gave us something perfect. I do not think a 3-Way match will ever top this. The best TNA match in history."

[9.0] "After hearing about this match for years and years, I finally had to check it out after hearing Christopher Daniels talk about it on Talk is Jericho. Felt I had to watch a CD match after his retirement so this was a no-brainer. A part of me was afraid that my expectations were too high after hearing so many positives about this match and a lot of people have it in their all-time favorite lists. But my goodness this match didn't disappoint in any way! Something special just clicked on this night because the chemistry was on point and every move was executed flawlessly! The crowd also was into this 100% which definitely built this up even more. This is a match that is difficult to truly put into words, you just have to experience it. One nitpick I might have is that this is just a 23-minute sprint with no breathing time. They went move after move, so maybe I would have liked them to slow down a pit and let us take it all in fully. The last thing I have to mention is that this felt like a true triple threat match! A lot of multi-man matches these days (Triple Threat, Fatal 4-way exc.) normally consist of one guy getting taken out and the two others basically have a one-on-one match until another one gets taken out. In this one, everyone is involved at all times which I absolutely loved!"

There was minimal, if any, down time from any of the three participants, and all three wisely tried to sneak in pins by any means necessary. It feels like the problem nowadays is where one of the three is constantly outside the ring waiting, but this match was as smooth as can be. The match is a shining standard as to how to pull off a triple threat without any contrived spots. ****1/2"

It can be said that this match is the best three Way match in history or even the best match in tna history. From the very beginning of the match, Styles and Joe attacked Christopher Daniels with heavy blows (as is expected for a three Way match for the title, the challenger first destroys the champ and then goes back to each other) It had an incredibly attractive match process that you can't find any flaws in it. [9.0] "Starts off with a Daniels sucker punch to AJ, Joe and CD go at each other, everyones trades, Aj jumps into the corner on Joe, decks Daniels. Joe with the elbow and Joe hits an Enziguiri, snapmare to Aj and a chop before Daniels cuts Joe off with a leg lariat, Oconnor roll for the pin attempt by Aj as Joes out of the ring, some rope running and then a dropkick to both guys by AJ. Side headlock takeover by AJ to Daniels. Aj gets lifted up by Daniels but kicks off of Joe to keep leverage, Joe grabs Ajs leg which is enough to have CD hit him with a flatliner, Joe works CD over in the corner, Joe goes for a cover on CD after a knee, kicked out, roll through into a leg bar, AJ breaks it up. AJ hits a vertical suplex on Joe after a back and forth. AJ works over Joe with an inverted Indian death lock, CD breaks it up on AJs exposed abdomen. Drop toehold by CD on AJ, works over the back of AJs head with his knee. Some more offense against AJs neck. Boston Crab with AJ and a Cobra Clutch on Joe by CD. CD goes back and forth between the turnbuckles before getting leveled by Samoa Joe on the uranage. Joe then hits both guys with big boots through the turnbuckle. Joe hits a combo dropkick senton to CD and AJ. Goes for a tope on AJ to the outside but AJ hits him with a high kick, AJ heads back in the ring but gets caught with a forearm by CD, reverses a vertical suplex to hit CD with one, gets cleared out by Joe on the apron, CD hits a tope suicida on Joe. Cd chops Joe then goes for his split leg moonsault but AJ catches him, Joe chops his midsection while hes upside down and grabs him on the ropes as AJ hits the Fosbury flop on both guys, really well done. Aj rolls Joe back in the ring for the pin but Joe kicks out, nice tijeras by AJ, CD heads in and hits Joe in the turnbuckle, AJ leaps off of CD to hit Joe with a nice move, positions hisself expertly to hit a springboard hurricanrana on CD, kick out on the cover at two. Really nice stuff from AJ. CD monkey flips AJ into Joes arms, AJ gets hit with a powerbomb thats thrown right on top of CD, Joe hits the powerbomb again onto AJ and AJ kicks out of the pin, Joe locks in a deep Boston crab and then an STF on AJ, then a crossface. AJ finally gets his leg into a rope break. Joe punts CD in the face before hitting a powerslam on AJ, CD comes back in and works over Joe before getting leveled off the ropes. CD hits a dragon sleeper and uranage on both guys, Daniels hits AJ with a Death Valley driver, Aj hits him with a vertical suplex into a neckbreaker. Joe hits everyone with palm thrusts that are brutal, the pace is phenomenal between all guys. Aj hits CD with a pele kick and everyone hits the mat. AJ hits a senton and some forearms to everyone. AJ hits a phenomenal forearm to Joe, Joe kicks out at two. Styles does more really cool stuff with the blackflip inverted DDT. And another springboard one, CD catches him with a last rights. AJ kicks out. CD hits Joe with a big German suplex, Joe sits CD up on the turnbuckle though and then hits the muscle buster on him, AJ breaks up the pinfall. Bunch of stuff reversed, Jackknife pin gets reversed, CD goes for a styles clash that Joe breaks up. Joe then hits a double lariat, CD gets sent into the corner, they double team Joe with a high low, CD and AJ shake hands after working together and then CD sucker punches him. They battle on the turnbuckle as Joe rises to his feet, Joe hits AJ with a huge chop that sends him off the turnbuckle, goes for another muscle buster, judo takedown by CD, he calls for the moonsault, hits the BME and pins Joe, AJ hits a springboard 450 splash to the back of CDs neck, pins Joe for the 3 count. Really fantastic match but the ending is a litte flat to be the best triple threat ever. but we're splitting hairs there."
