[10.0] "This is probably the best match and individual performance in Fuchi's entire career, it was so good that I'm afraid my vocabulary wouldn't be able to do it justice. Combine that with Liger's masterful adaptation to his opponent, excellent selling and very detailed work between the moves, and you get a very memorable match that stand outs in many ways. Plus, Liger was working in black gear that just looked fucking sick. The way how Fuchi was working on top and playing with his prey (his facial expressions too, what a prick) should be shown in pro-wrestling schools that has serious intentions to make pro-wrestling better. Great, great match. ****1/2+"
[9.0] "[4.5*] I'm so shocked that this is not rated yet, and I'm also surprised of this match it did super-passed my expectations, and the outcome ? Was great and the first classic for the company this year! It didn't need more than the pure usual stuff from fuchi but that wasn't any performance that was a masterclass of a performance; the way he just kept liger by his control was really impressive and fascinating but the way he executed these submissions that really played the biggest role in this match favor, the way he let everything sink in was beautiful and a performer like that is not easy at all, I still haven't seen much of liger but he was really good here, fuch with one of the best performances of the decade so far ? Hell yeah, great stuff, I'll definitely rewatch this and write more about it."
[8.0] "Fuchi is a sick heel, really good work by him. He put Liger on a lot of pain with that awesome move when he put Liger on the corner middle ropes and then he up and choke him; or the cobra clutch on his knee; the awesome belly to back suplex. Really good wrestler. Liger had his moments, but the star was Fuchi. Liger won with a La Magistral."
[8.0] "I'm of the opinion that this ruled. Definitely a heel v heel match with Fuchi giving Liger's ligaments a good workout before Liger brings out his otherworldly dickish interpromotional energy. You never know what you're gonna get from a Juniors match at the Dome in 2001 but the fans were invested and the work was refined."
[7.0] "This is the first and easily the best of the three singles matches on the card, and honestly it's my favorite match of the event, even if the main event is around as good. Fuchi's a sadistic bastard, and he's great at adding details that make you love to see this come out. That corner leg choke and fist-pumping pose will never not be one of my favorite things in wrestling. Liger goes over by catching him with a la magistral, but to his credit they make Fuchi look really, really good here. ***3/4"
