Jerry Lynn vs. Juventud Guerrera

[6.0] "3 and 3/4 stars from the Observer? I feel as though they didn't actually watch this match. It wasn't nearly as good as it could have been based off Lynn and Guerrera's talents. I counted three awkward/miscommunication spots, including some kind of atomic drop/spinebuster hybrid. Compared to the match before with Dinero and Raven, they did a lot more but weren't nearly as smooth in execution."

[8.0] "The X-Division was hit-or-miss at this time, but this was a really good match that showed its potential. Lynn and Guerrera put on a by turns high-flying and technical match that was a lot of fun."

[7.0] "Juventud looks to have lost a step or two, but is still very capable in the ring. Jerry Lynn is always great. Konnan just stands outside the ring and makes gangsta symbols. I loved the frenetic pace of the match and it's always good to see Juventud, even if it just for a quick stop."

[6.0] "This was good, but not at the level I expect from a Jerry Lynn match. He and Guerrera just didn't quite click."

[7.0] "I liked it a lot. Yes, there were some miscomunications between them, but it was a very good match. Jerry Lynn and Juventud Guerrera are two great lightweights. Juventud showcased some of his cool Lucha offense and Jerry Lynn had some good counters and moves. They mixed well and was a nice match. I'm enjoying this storyline, it's interesting and Konnan is a good character."

[6.0] "Decent match between Lynn and Guerrera in the middle of this episode but absolutely nothing fabulous, I didn't have high expectations but I still had some expectations because Lynn was always producing great matches at that time and it was something huge to see Guerrera in TNA but in the end they had too little time to really offer us something great. And the eight minutes of action we got to see were not great either, we saw some good stuff here and there of course because they're both very good workers but nothing particularly exciting. At no point during the match did I think that what I was watching was truly good, and I'm sure they could do much better than that. Overall a big mess that was too short and ended with a roll-up finish, tired of that."

[7.0] "These guys are going at it fast, for sure. Maybe too fast, as they do seem to run into some miscommunications at times. But some awesome moves mixed in as well. After a bunch of nearfalls, Lynn picks up the win with a fancy pinning combination."

[6.0] "Juventud and Jerry Lynn had some miscommunication at times in this match but otherwise had some very unique ideas. The ending was kind of underwhelming, but it was a well wrestled match by two innovators of this type of style in the 90s that had never otherwise faced before this."
