Cedric Alexander vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

[8.0] "What an absolutely fantastic match. This was around the time the WWE Cruiserweight Classic had just happened and Cedric Alexander had his standout match with Kota Ibushi earning a WWE contract. Watching this match, I forgot how good Cedric Alexander really is. Zack wrestled his catch style with Alexander hitting his sporadic fast paced and high impact offense. In the finishing stretch, Alexander hit a vicious brain buster but it wasnt enough to secure a win. Zack ended up trapping him in a nasty submission where he uses his legs to trap Cedrics arms and forcing his shoulders forward while kicking him in the back of the head. Great great match with a really good crowd! ****1/4"

[8.0] "Another standout CWC showcase match that would've easily been a highlight of the actual CWC tournament. Sabre getting turned on here was a nice tease for the future of his career, but in this instance it was probably because of Cedric's recent surge in popularity."
