[6.0] "Santana was always good for a solid match on any show, no matter who it was with, but this one included an angle afterwards where The Red Rooster snapped and assaulted Bobby Heenan for mistreating him. Match was decent, too."
[6.0] "I like this. This is one of those matches where it's not always on the wrestling. Bobby Heenan is mic-ed up for this match and it is absolutely brilliant; it makes you wish they did this type of thing more. Bobby Heenan continues to berate the Red Rooster after his loss and Red Rooster finally has enough and snaps, throwing Heenan around the ring. Match was decent and angle was great for a solid total package."
[5.0] "A passable wrestling match, largely carried by Tito Santana. The angle overwhelmed the action but it was a good angle with Bobby Heenan giving a grand managerial performance. They should have stuck a microphone on more managers. It's telling that the match feels quite long at 7 minutes. Taylor is not an exciting worker and felt completely out of place in late 80s WWF where everyone was so big."
[5.0] "This was all about the falling out between Taylor and Heenan. They could have written the story where Taylor ditches the stupid gimmick and feuds with Heenan for saddling him with such a lame gimmick but I guess Vince was more concerned with selling some crappy t shirts to the kiddies."
[5.0] "Perfectly acceptable little match here. The main meat of the match was obviously Bobby Heenan, but Tito and Terry were able to put on a solid wrestling match for the time being in what was supposed to be an angle advancement more than anything. [**1/2]"
[4.0] "A fine match technically, but it was way too long for what it really was - filler. The fact that there was at least a story between Rooster and Heenan helped and it didn't drag as much because of that, but I still wouldn't have had this go over seven minutes. [**]"
[6.0] "This is not bad but very random for what it is, what didn't surprised me to be honest. We had some cool moves there and there like a Piledriver but the match is empty with an overbooked finish so I can't put a higher rating. **3/4"
[4.0] "When the best part of the match is Heenan who was at ringside you'll have problems. The match itself was very much a sideshow and as a result came off pretty lethargic and slow."
[6.0] "Easily the best thing on what was an awful episode of this show. The Red Rooster gimmick was dumb, but that didn't make him a bad wrestler, he was just saddled with a gimmick he didn't need. A fun technical wrestling match between two very talented wrestlers."
[7.0] "A fine match that is elevated by the angle with Heenan being mic'd up at ringside, and his patter is just as good as you'd expect. I'm not a fan of Taylor so it amuses me that the angle is built around the idea that he isn't very good. Tito, as always, is very good at what he does."
