Billy Kidman, Paul London & Rey Mysterio vs. Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley & Spike Dudley

[6.0] "This match starts and ends very strongly with the high risk offense. The Dudleys are selling amazingly for the smaller men and both teams are playing offense and defense very effectively. Unfortunately, most of the middle of the match is basic tag work. It is still performed well, but it cools off after the opening a lot. I think a Cruiserweight title match between Spike and Rey alone might have been a better opener, but this got more people on the card. A very good six man tag to start off the show, but nothing so great as to be a standout on its own."

[7.0] "A fun opener and Spike Dudley kind of breathed some life back into the Dudleyz around this time. London, Kidman and Rey is a very neat high-flying all star team as well."

[7.0] "High Flying action, good drama and near falls. Fun opening match, final minutes were really exciting."

"A nice opener with the right team winning, not too long either with a good nearfall on Kidman's shooting star."

[5.0] "It's always great to watch Mysterio do his stuff, because he's so fluid with everything he does, but other than that there wasn't anything interesting here. The Dudleys had no heat at that point, Kidman and London did some basic stuff and and it didn't drag, but also didn't steal the show."

[7.0] "Really enjoyable opener here and I never thought a Spike Dudley heel turn would work, but I am really digging the "boss" character a lot. Some solid wrestling all around here with the Dudleys getting in some good control spots and the cruiserweight team getting some seriously good spots in there, especially when Rey hits the 6-1-9 on Spike and that leads to the shooting star press from Kidman. Highly entertaining match and the 3D on Kidman to give Spike the win was some good advancement there."

[6.0] "This was a solid opener to the PPV, mainly due to Rey for me he was so damn good in this match. That's not to say the others involved in this match were bad, but Rey just stood out that much to me in this one. They made great use of the time they had before the 3D to Kidman ended the match.***"

[5.0] "Filler as an opener or at least it felt like filler. Dudleys winning was a big suprise I will say, Mysterio carried"

[3.0] "Very boring. Dudleys look unmotivated and Kidman and London are doing underwhelming spot monkey stuff that fails to impress today and probably wasn't all that great at the time."

[7.0] "It was a good match, I didn't think Spike Dudley would be that serious, I thought he would have been destroyed early in the match, but in the end he did well. All the wrestlers had their chance to shine, and the ending was really nice too. [***1/4]"

[7.0] "Actually a really solid match to kick off the show. Not very long, but they made very good use of the time given, having a competitive bout that had very little wasted motion. Bubba and D-Von played good bruisers against the opposing high-flyers with Spike calling the shots. There was a lot of really enjoyable action, such as Rey and Kidman killing Spike with a 619 and Shooting Star Press. In the end Kidman got isolated and taken out by the 3D for the win. Really fun match here. ***1/4"

[9.0] "Even being under 10 minutes, I thought this was a pretty great opener and in some ways a highlight of the show, and that's a testament to the often underutilized talent of all involved."

[6.0] "This was a good opener with a lot of action I just wish it were longer. Eight minutes is way too short for such a potentially great match. If they got another seven or eight minutes they could have really had something special. Finish was well done in terms of giving Spike some more momentum. **3/4"
