The match itself wasn't bad though and RVD going for spots with furniture actually made sense because he had to find a way to put Kane down, but also it could have been a little shorter and more impactful because of that. |

RVD will always make a match entertaining, and Kane is also always a good worker. While this match is a fun watch, I always expect more out of it. The story is there, and they have some bells and whistles added in, but I feel it just never fired up the way it should have. The pace is slow most of the way through, and I feel it was too much of a basic No DQ match. RVD isn't exactly fighting for his life against a monster, and Kane isn't really fighting like an animal trying to tear him apart. It's good for sure, but I don't feel like it delivered how it should have. A solid bout between two greats, but it's far from anything outstanding. |
