A-Train vs. The Undertaker

[7.0] "A much better match than given credit for. They moved a lot and did some high impact spots and moves. Pretty much no high stakes but it was good on the undercard. Only thing that sucked was Sable and Steph's roles because of misogyny. Pretty sure Ol' Dave would've given this a higher rating if it happened now because he's not as grumpy? I'd love to interview him about his ratings I'm not gonna lie."

[3.0] "This was not good at all. They tried hard but there is just such little heat from A-Train, he just doesn't have the aura for this level of match-up. Even with his nearfall, it didn't feel like he could win."

[4.0] "It's adequate but again, should this really be on Summerslam? And following a lackluster tag match? Crowd was at least a little more invested and it wasn't too long though. But there's almost nothing to note in this match other than Stephanie's return."

[5.0] "This is a fine pay per view match. Kinda a slug fest but not at the same time, it didn't overstay its welcome. Fine little match. 2.25/5 Stars."

[5.0] "This was perfectly good big man match. The speed of the action for two guys of that size was really nice to see."

[4.0] "It wasn't bad, but the story was almost non-existent and the work itself wasn't that good to make it exciting. These two are good workers, but putting them against each other wasn't the recipe for a wrestling classic and it didn't help that Stephanie vs Sable was the main angle of that thing."

[7.0] "Im not surprised these guys got a one on one match as they worked their asses off at Wrestemania to get something out of the handicap match and both guys put on a good showing here, solid brawl and very underrated by people"

[6.0] "Decent, hard hitting match, I don't think anyone was gonna second guess who's getting the W but it's a nice match for Albert to have on his resume and they did well enough with the time given to them"

[5.0] "This match was fine, but definitely not one that you're going to remember or go back to. The highlight was a great ref bump after a clothesline. They had Undertaker go over while trying to use the ref bumps to protect A-Train some. A lot of standard stuff from these two, but that doesn't make it bad. It's a decent enough showing that's enjoyable when you're watching this show in its entirety, but it certainly won't be a match you'll be coming back for."

[2.0] "I never really liked The Undertaker, there are some hits in there but it's mostly one long miss for me. I have always had a soft spot for A-Train. Tonight, A-Train has a rather large preying mantas lurching behi-Oh! that's just Sable, nevermind. The two are working a handicap against my judgement because: Ever since the dawn of my wrestling fandom, big time "Godzilla vs King Kong" matches in McMahonland almost always bored me to tears and these two are following the blueprint. A-Train livens things up with an impressive vertical suplex and the sleeper reversal into a back suplex was rather cool as well. Beyond fleeting moments of intrigue, we are greeted with plenty of stuff I never much cared for. In the end, The Undertaker undercuts every advantage A Train accrues. Mostly Lame and I don't recommend this at all."

[5.0] "Nothing too bad, but nothing amazing either. Undertaker does a good job selling his rib injury and at times this is a decent hoss fight, but it's a nothing feud to be honest. The most memorable thing about this match for me was Brian Hebner's ref bump sell when he accidentally gets clotheslined by the Undertaker as that looked great."

[5.0] "It's two big dudes going at it for 9 minutes. It's really not that hard of a watch but I wouldn't call this great or anything. I did however enjoy this match for what it was though.**3/4"

[5.0] "With Taker injured in a kayfabe to the ribs, A-Train spent much of the match aiming for the injury with hard, direct blows, which Taker answered with more hard, direct blows. It's not to everyone's taste, and even I who like my heavyweight fights wasn't really impressed because they did, but with the lower standard for Taker's matches at SummerSlam, this one stands out."

[3.0] "Undertaker has difficulty to put on a good match at Summerslam it seems. Only 2 matches I have reviewed so far have been good"

[4.0] "Very average match. Fine moves and decent chemistry between the two giants, but it doesn't feel all that important especially for a SummerSlam and it's rather apparent Undertaker is going over."

[6.0] "two big guys beating up each other. it's slow at times, but it really isn't all that bad as some of the ratings say, in my opinion."

[2.0] "This was slow and didn't really have enough standout moments to keep it entertaining. Kind of sucked quite frankly. *"

[9.0] "If you want an extremely fast paced match, this will not be the match for you, but if you want to see two gigantic, athletic guys duke it out and just smash each other up, you might be like me and think this is actually kind of great."

[4.0] "This was a slow, plodding match. There was only one moment where it looked like A-Train might win, but it wasn? t that close. No surprise that The Undertaker got the win since he was the bigger name in this match. Adequate match (**)"
