Colt Cabana vs. Jimmy Jacobs

[10.0] "I feel like this is a bit of a forgotten classic. This is an absolute blood bath. Some may be surprised by how good Colt is at this style of match considering his light hearted character and European influenced mat style of wrestling, but he has proven on several occasions to be quite adept in this environment as well. It isn't all just blood and guts, as Jacobs has some fantastic character work here, along with some nice attention to detail with little things like punching blindly at the air to sell the huge amount of blood loss. This is very violent and features several sharp implements, so perhaps not well suited to the faint of heart. In my mind this is a classic, and rewatching it today having last seen it at least 14 years ago I could still remember so many of the spots because of what an impact they had. Tremendous match and well worth the watch if you aren't squeamish."

[9.0] "Thought this was an excellent way to end the blood feud between Jacobs and Cabana. This was just brutal as you'd expect with lots of cringy spots amd both guys pulling out all the stops. Jacobs did some brilliant character work here as usual, and Cabana was so agressive here, as he wanted revenge on Jacobs. (****)"

[8.0] "They had some issues with the table late in the match, but this was a good, hate-filled brawl with a lot of creative spots and was a fitting end to an intense feud."
