[6.0] "That match was far from perfect, but there was some entertainment value to it. Jumbo Tsuruta and Genichiro Tenryu had great chemistry as a team, and the team of Brody and One Man Gang was a nice heel team to go against them as villainous foreigners. One Man Gang was a little sluggish, but Bruiser Brody did a decent job of carrying the team. Tsuruta and Tenryu also had some impressive feats of strength lifting and suplexing the One Man Gang. Not bad. 6/10"
[5.0] "This does give us a glimpse of the Jumbo/Tenryu tag team before they enter their first WSTDL as a unit, and by extension we get to see them work with Brody (as they will in the final of that tournament), but I can't say I thought it was essential viewing. It does appear that Brody is giving a little bit more to Tenryu, at least by Brody standards, though that isn't necessarily saying much. I'd have much rather had Hansen teaming with Brody, obviously, though One Man Gang wasn't necessarily bad. He just didn't provide what I felt this would have needed to be much more than a program-filler. The heels win by countout and then brutalize Jumbo with the use of Brody's chain. The quality of certain ingredients bring this to around **1/2."
