[4.0] "WCW must've taken notes and ditched their tame touch four corners rules for a falls count anywhere like Rock/HHH did recently. They fight into the crowd, Flair bleeds then back to ringside. Page puts Flair on the announcers table and whips him. Flair whips the hell out of Page in the ring and goes to the figure four. DDP pulls out a surprise diamond cutter and pins Flair but his foot is on the ropes. Charles Robinson of all people counts the three then Page cuts Robinson, David Flair runs down and gets kneed by Kimberly who gives the crowbar to Page and they leave em laying. What a screwball ppv! Flair does the stretcher job and Shiavone does the "he may never wrestle again speech" The Filthy Animals jump him at the ambulance and drive off with him. So.......nobody thinks to call the cops for assault, battery, abduction and car theft? I guess they are heels? This has Vince Russo's musk all over it!"
[3.0] "Long, dull, and with a botched ending (or an extremely badly booked one, it's hard to tell honestly) followed by one of my least favourite things, the fake neck injury stretcher angle."
[6.0] "This was a good match, the only big default there is that they were too much outside of the ring for me, especially at the first half of the match. Flair has a good heelwork here as always, decent ppv match. ***1/4"
[5.0] "Sure feels like this should have been better than it was. '99 was not a very good year for Flair (or, well, for much of anyone in WCW) but DDP was one of the better guys in the company. Definitely would have rated a bit higher if not for the bad ending."
