Royal Rumble Match 1992

[6.0] "23/04/92 SMW. A good battle royal, nothing special but not boring. The finish was decent and set up Buddy Landel vs Tim Horner. 6*"

[7.0] "The Mountain Mayhem was a fun Royal Rumble style match. It had the 18 wrestlers involved seated around the ring and they entered it when it was their turn. It was a fun concept. There were some nice moments on the match and some development of storylines, with Orndorff hitting the piledriver or with DWB, who was eliminated earlier, helping to eliminate his rival Brian Lee. The ending was weird, as Buddy Landel throwed powder into Tim Horner's eyes. Landel was thrown over the top rope, but as the referee didn't saw it, he went back to the ring and eliminated Tim Horner, who was the last man. They are setting a feud between this two that should be nice. So, it was a fun match for the show."

[7.0] "Entertaining spin on the Royal Rumble concept. All participants are seated at ringside, which is an interesting idea. Match has a lot of good stuff, but also quite a number of extended dull periods. Finish is fun chaos, with a bunch of eliminations in the dying minutes, and a distracted referee. This does a great of job of finishing on a high, with an angle for a future match, that you forget how nothing-happening some sections of it were. Still, I really enjoy SMW's Mountain Mayhem match, and would recommend it. ***Ÿ"
