[7.0] "I enjoyed this match more than I expected to. Christian put in some serious work here, making himself and Jackson look intimidating. For an opener, this was not bad, and it set a decent tone for the rest of the night. Nothing to write home about but I had fun watching it."

[6.0] "There wasn't anything that truly stood out all that much in this match, but it was still a decent one and Christian put in a lot of work in this."
[6.0] "Christian did absolutely everything he needed to here. Made himself look great and make the inexperienced Jackson look like a million bucks while doing so. Jackson's youth shows in his offense, as the big blow to this match is that his offense is limited. It's a lot of single strikes and basic slams. Not awful, because some of the strikes look great, but he just wasn't good enough to match's Christian's versatility. Christian's selling and move variety is fantastic, though. He really pulls out all the stops to win. A good match with very good storytelling, and a match that really shows Christian's talent and ability to lead."

His opponent has quite a 5-move arsenal and the Canadian does everything he can to prevent this from going completely down the drain. With a lot of commitment, he manages to do this quite effectively, even if it has to be said that there is hardly any psychology or even reasons why something like this can't take place somewhere on weekly TV."

I've always thought the Killswitch/Unprettier has been an underrated finish and it's not exactly the RKO but I feel like Christian can hit it in a variety of ways. The crowd was into Christian's win and he was my personal favorite ECW champion of this era. 3 stars at least."

"I quite like Christian, but it was too much carryjob, even for him. The good thing is that he won and since he was relatively over, the match still worked as an opener. Christian around this time was a serious upper-carder, then he went down, then back up, then back down again.As for Ezekiel Jackson? I don't even know if anyone remembers him."
