King Booker vs. Triple H

[3.0] "The crowd was hot behind the returning Triple H, this match between him and Booker was bad with very weak and boring in ring action and chemistry."

[7.0] "Wasn't that bad at all, definitely satisfied, got the crowd going, and for coming back from a torn quad it was good to see the game kick some ass"

[3.0] "House show match on PPV! Never really got going and really only existed to give Triple H a win on his comeback."

[5.0] "Its only purpose was to give Triple H a nice victory over a former world champion for his return. He looked to be in a great shape and the crowd was loud for him, while Booker played his heel role perfectly. It wasn't a wrestling classic, just a standard match with some vintage HHH offense, but that was exactly what it was supposed to be."

[4.0] "While not quite a bad match, this was just paint by numbers. Both Booker and Triple H were just running through their standard moves and playbook. Getting their signature offense in before calling it a day. Booker hits one of the worst looking Book Ends of all time, and Triple H won't be outdone and performs one of the worst looking Pedigrees of all time shortly after. I agree with other commenters here that this really feels like a house show match to get the ring rust off of Triple H. Not a Summerslam highlight match."

[6.0] "Triple H worked this match with the flu hence the shortness of it. The build of it was basically to finally determine who was the true active wrestling king of the WWE (with respect to Jerry Lawler) - King Booker or "The King of Kings". Triple H dominated the majority of this as to be expected since he's the returning babyface. I loved the use of Queen Sharmell here, it reminded me of how valets of way back when would step in, and do the dirty work for the person they managed to help them get control of a match back. And again, Booker T, every time he was in control it was because he took some kind of short cut to make it happen. The exchange that lead to the finish didn't really give me the shock factor i'd usually like, but you kinda knew who was winning."

[4.0] "Triple H's big return is just a squash, just to remind everyone "Hey, it's Triple H, he can do Pedigrees and suchlike". It was, however, a squash that was much slower paced than you'd expect one to be, given how Booker had aged. This is the sort of match that needed to be done on PPV, but the quality of it really didn't reflect its position. It's acceptable, but only just."

[4.0] "HHH's return match... and it was not good. The crowd was excited though, despite it being a slow, boring match."

[5.0] "It was almost hilarious how Triple H's return was treated as a much bigger deal vs. Rey's. It was fine and nothing more."

[6.0] "Another decent but short match on this card. The crowd really made this one as the action itself was rather basic and wouldn't have meant much in a more normal environment."

[5.0] "This was an average match that was like watching a house show match. They went short likely because it would have been foolish to put Hunter in a long match during his big return. Nice stuff between these two **1/4"
