[7.0] "Man what the hell were these two guys thinking having a match like this at this point in their careers? This ended up being Mick Foley's last singles match and one of Ric Flair's last ones as well, and they made sure to go out with a bang here. This was violent with both bleeding profusely right from the get-go. Foley had a nasty cut on his eye, and Flair joined the party by getting hit with a barbed-wire bat and taking multiple bumps into a pile of thumbtacks. Truly wild stuff from him, though most bizarre was watching Flair do a top rope splash through a table (feel like that has to be a first for him). This was definitely an entertaining trainwreck, but the nonsensical finish where Flair lost despite getting up before the ten count was a bit of a blemish. ***1/2"
[6.0] "Ill give em credit, they took some insane bumps but nah man, this was kinda cringe to watch for 2010. Both guys were so old and doing this to each other is just tired and both should've been retired by this point. Its 2 broken down old guys unable to step away"
[8.0] "Ric Flair came out of retirement for the love of the game - he seems to lose most of his matches at his advanced age. This may have also been a get back for Flair going over Foley back in their feud on RAW. Either way, both men put forth a great performance, taking unexpected big bumps and working well with the stipulation. In a perfect world, they would have hugged and had their official retirment moments there, but life never seems to work that way"
[7.0] "For this being his last singles match, Foley sure does take some crazy bumps in this. Flair himself would only have three singles matches after this and he's bumpiing into thumbtacks. Both get pretty significant color right from the beginning too. I bet they both felt like they needed to do whatever it took to get this match over, considering how done both of them were. Both were past their proper retirements and in TNA just for the money. Thankfully, this is pretty short and actually works quite well. A testament to how good these guys were- even when their bodies were broken down and way past their expiration date, they were able to work an entertaining and engaging match."
[7.0] "It's crazy that they pulled it off at that stage of their careers. This was the only way to make their match entertaining as I think it would be boring as hell to watch them go at it in a regular match in 2010. I didn't fathom the finish though. Flair was completely up, so he answered the count. Foley stood up soon after, but the count should have been restarted for Flair after he dropped"
[7.0] "This match had absolutely no reason to be so entertaining actually, what could have been an industrial disaster (because giving Foley & Flair a Last Man Standing match in 2010 was anything but a good idea) ultimately turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Foley still knew how to take bumps, and surprisingly, so did Flair. He even took some on thumbtacks, what he wasn't prepared to do to pay off his debts... More seriously, it was really fun and surprising."
[9.0] "One of the most destructive matches I've ever seen, and I've actually had a lot of fun watching it. It's impressive considering Flair and Foley's age, but those two put up a great hardcore spotfest. Plus, respect for these two that have bled like pigs in this match"
[8.0] "This was far better than it had any right to be. Neither man held anything back and put each other through hell so they could both have one last great match. That stage dive from Mick was an insane sight to see."
[7.0] "Very good content, though it can be a tough affair to watch at times, for obvious reasons (both guys are approaching their last matches ever, and are completely screwing up their bodies for our entertainment). Still, Mick is a hardcore legend for a reason, and Ric Flair is a complete unbridled maniac, so this can't not be fun to watch overall."
[9.0] "The last great match in the careers of two titans of the professional wrestling business. They're both getting up there in age (both of them had only a handful of matches after this apiece before retiring) and decided to make up for it by bleeding and bumping and brawling like absolute madmen. Foley takes a bump off the stage through a table before the match is half over, and RIC FLAIR introduces THUMBTACKS and takes a back body drop into them; between these spots there's a sequence where Flair beats Foley over the head with a copy of Mick's newest book before stomping on it. In what is a legitimately genius finish, Flair goes to the top rope AND ACTUALLY SUCCEEDS IN DOING A MOVE by putting Foley through a table, but Foley still gets up during the count, while Ric takes a Flair Flop into the tacks and loses. Flair actually gets to do a highspot, and he loses because of it. Add in how much these guys were willing to fucking bleed for this match and it's several magnitudes better than it might have sounded before the bell. This just plain kicks ass. **** but 9 for the effort put in by two guys that could've phoned it in so easily like a lot of old guys in TNA did at one point or another."
[7.0] "Anytime you put these two together you can always expect a lot of violence and a great match, the ending was unexpected but this match was still good"
[8.0] "Amazing that they could pull off a performance like that at their age. It is actually shocking how good it was considering the circumstances. Definitely a must see."
[8.0] "Fantastic war between two absolute legends on the ends of their respective runs. Probably both men's best matches in TNA and honestly so much effort and heart that anyone could appreciate this match. **** chaotic banger."
