222.01.2025KingsCrossing8.0This was an awesome grudge match. Aggressive, explosive, physical - everything that you want to see from a match like this. The Rottweilers are excellent heels here, to the point where I think this may very well be their best performance as a tag team, and Lethal is an excellent, sympathetic underdog. The DQ finish makes perfect sense for the story and successfully progresses the feud, but unfortunately it does put a ceiling on the match for me and is why I didn't go higher with my rating. While it is obviously by design in order to continue the program for a payoff at a later date, it does leave you feeling unfulfilled by the end, and it's a little hard to go on a match that ends with you feeling that way. I will say, I absolutely would have gone higher on my rating if I chose to include the post-match, as I thought this was sensational. Joe just winging chairs from out of the crowd at the Rottweilers was a tremendous moment. Definitely a 9.0 if I'm including the post-match, but I ultimately decided it would be unfair to count that as part of the match itself and have opted for an 8.0 instead. An excellent segment from start to finish at any rate.

903.03.2023arrancar7.0While a 'brawl' in most other wrestling promotions across the years (including to this day) just entails guys lazily throwing unconvincing strikes at each other while otherwise wrestling the exact same way they usually would, this was a true brawl in the most literal sense. It had that intense fight feel right away as both teams immediately went after each other before the bell. Homicide and Low Ki the clear heels with their constant cheating and other cheap tactics, which made them really engaging obstacles in Lethal and Joe's way. As expected, Low Ki and Joe were impressively vicious with their strikes, but Homicide and Lethal were also very good with their own strikes. Homicide and (especially) Low Ki did really well as they dominated Lethal during their control period, and Lethal was nicely sympathetic and fiery in response. Joe was a great destroyer once he got the hot tag, completely wreaking havoc on Homicide and Low Ki while giving the match an even faster and more exciting pace. Low Ki got to show off his great athleticism and explosiveness in that final 1/3rd, somewhat resembling his incredible 2002 self in the process. The match technically ended by DQ after Homicide hit a big elbow drop on the ref during what likely would have been a successful pinfall for Lethal over Low Ki. That *would* have been a disappointing finish if the match hadn't then unofficially continued for another 8-ish minutes as a massive arena brawl, with all 4 guys keeping up their intensity and returning to battering each other like they had done at the start, though this time with some weapons and other props thrown in for variety, plus some really good use of the different settings provided out in the crowd compared to the ring. Joe hurling a ridiculous number of chairs (supplied by the rabid ringside fans) at both Low Ki and Homicide was absolutely awesome, and that was also the moment where the match finally became more than just 'really good'. Low Ki looked like an absolute badass as he stood all bloodied over Lethal's lifeless body after taking him out with the Ki Krusher, solidifying that he and Homicide were the ones that came out on top despite the official DQ finish. I wouldn't have minded this going for another 10 minutes as an unofficial brawl or even if the match somehow got restarted, because these guys all captured a really good sense of intensity and I really wanted to see how far they could go with it. Very exciting work from everyone, but of course I have to say that Joe and Low Ki were the top stars. ***3/4

1212.03.2022Geo938.0A great tag team match with lots of fast-paced and exciting wrestling. Then it ended with a DQ but made up for it with the post-match brawl. Low Ki's double stomps were brutal throughout this and Samoa Joe's rampage with the chairs at the end was great. Really good stuff, overall.
1329.12.2020Wrestling Forever 9.0Rematch von Manhatten Mayhem nur noch besser und einfach nur fantastisch (****). Rottweilers isolieren Jay lange der auch viel leiden musste. Als Joe reinkam ging es so richtig ab.
1420.12.2020Loki Hipster God9.0My rating for this is if you include the phenomenal post-match brawl that is better than the match itself. If you don't include the post-match stuff, my rating would be closer to an 8. This match told a compelling story of Jay Lethal trying to outwrestle The Rottweilers, only for them to use dirty underhanded tactics at every turn. The finish sees Lethal hit his dragon suplex on Low Ki and, just as it looks like Lethal will finally get his revenge by scoring a pin on Ki, Homicide comes in and attacks the ref, drawing a DQ and denying Lethal his pinfall victory. I normally frown on DQ finishes in wrestling, but this one worked so well and really played into the story of Lethal never being able to pin Ki.

1616.06.2017Blood Pump9.0A damn fine tag match that really played Homicide and Low Ki up as nasty heels. There's a lot of moments in this bout that reminds me of something I might see in the 80s mid south, but there's enough going on in this match (and after it) that makes it its own thing. The story is the Rottweilers didn't care so much about winning as they did about just taking out Joe and Lethal (especially Lethal apparently). Low Ki uses the double stomp no less then three times (four but he misses the tree of woe one), and all of them are used at the perfect time for this match. The best part of this match (or post-match rather) wasn't the double stomp off the bleachers though (that's a solid second), but Joe being so fed up he just starts launching chairs at Low Ki and Homicide. Wonderful match psychologically speaking. **** 3/4

1824.02.2017NastyYaffa9.0This was great. Lethal was a tremendous FIP, and the Rottweilers were fantastic working over him - and then you got Joe just getting more & more angry w/ Low Ki & Homicide as the match goes on, and then in the end when he finally gets his hands on them - good stuff. Great match. ****

2111.11.2011Eddie8.0Klasse Kampf.
Insgesamt also doch 8 Punkte.
