[7.0] "A proper heavyweight collision between two of the most promising monsters in the company. I love the sheer physicality of it all, Oba's insane strength and Bronson's savviness mesh so well. Of course you get some annoying Vision shenanigans, but Theory getting blasted with a Chokeslam on the apron is so damn satisfying. Then Oba enters god mode and tears shit up, only this time in questionable fashion. Because Oba kicking out after two brass knuckles shots and a Tsunami is scary, but not necessarily in a good way. I mean, it's just too much if you ask me. WWE truly is creating the most overpowered monster ever, and I'm afraid it might backfire down the line. For now, let's say it works, but they need to turn that indestructible force shtick down a notch. ***1/2+"
[7.0] "MEEEEAT. Well, not really, because Bronson lost a lot of meat. Ozempic rules. Anyway, Oba Femi is great and even with this The Vision bullshit it is impossible to give him a rating lower than that. He is just that great. Getting better at some things he wasn't good, like bumps. World champ material."
[7.0] "Definitely better than the drizzling shits that were the 3 Femi vs Brock matches and then the Bron vs. Femi match which was completely underdelivered at SNME. This was an actual match with an actual structure most likely because Bronson Reed is a veteran and pretty good wrestler although his personal use of AI is extremely uncool and lame. Both of these guys are really lame in real life but that doesnt really matter haha when they are monsters in the ring. Femi wins predictably. Rating: ***1/2"
[6.0] "Great big man brawl bogged down by tired and trite Vision interference. Feels like it buried Reed a little too heavily so soon after returning. Should've felt more clean, should've felt more final, but not bad."
[5.0] "Bronson Reed and Oba both work a serviceable match, but that's really all there is to say about it. Oba no-sells every finisher delivered to him and multiple brass knuckles hits to the face. really stark how uninteresting Oba is becoming after seeming like such an exciting prospect in NXT but his weird invincible to everything gimmick is really watering his matches down into paint-by-numbers repetition."
[7.0] "The best match on the card. Clean, hard-hitting and a lot of fun. Oba Femi manages to still carry his momentum and Bronson Reed is pulling out all the stops - what a moonsault!"
[7.0] "I think that was good fight of two powerhouses. Bronson looked good here and Oba is great like he always. That's actually his best singles match on the main roster, but I don't like how ubreakable is he, becuase 2 shots with brass knuckles and Tsunami weren't enough to beat him. They need to stop doing this, it will look imposible to beat him in the future."
[6.0] "[3.0*] Good match! Very solid hoss battle, super badass action. The interference stuff is kinda lame and Oba kicking out of two brass-knuckles hits + the Tsunami was fucking hilarious, but other than that I enjoyed pretty much everything about this one."
[8.0] "This is a very solid match between these two monsters and it executed pretty well. Big Bronson reed isn't big Bronson reed anymore but weight cut helps him to show his wrestling ability more and it works very well mvp of this match for me overall a solid match basic but effective"
[6.0] "Yet another enjoyable Oba Femi match that lacked a satisfying finish; I am so sick of this terrible booking. They've managed the "feat" of making Oba look invincible and unbeatable already... In a few months, he'll be wrestling once every four months on pay-per-view, just like Reigns."
[6.0] "I think building Oba Femi off the back of a hot feud with Brock Lesnar is naturally gonna make his matches feel weird off the bat similar to how Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre were booked at their peak. Going from going bar for bar with who is really the final boss of WWE to having a semi back and forth with Bronson Reed is gonna cause some narrative dissonance. No disrespect to Reed but he's a bit of a circumstantial threat and that's the fundamental flaw in building a guy with borderline no weaknesses, it makes matches like this lose their intrigue. The match itself is good, there's good intensity, both Femi and Reed look like beasts. They actually seem more interested in having an exciting match than just aura farming like every other fucking one on one in this company. The interference from The Vision was whatever, unsurprising but relatively inoffensive. I don't have a dog in this fight so I just wanted to see some decent wrestling and I got that. Probably the most structurally sound match on the card"
[8.0] "Bronson Reed is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the main roster. Everything he does looks awesome. Time to disband the Vision and let Bron and Bronson do their own thing. The bumps Bronson can do now are amazing for his size. Oba Femi is a beast and the future. No brainer."
[5.0] "All in all, the match was okay, but I would have liked to see more; above all, the way Oba Femi's character is being written is terrible and will ultimately do more harm than good. He is decidedly too strong compared to everyone else--shrugging off anything and kicking out of every pin attempt no matter what. Sure, he's still over thanks to the Lesnar feud and his entrance, but it won't take long for him to wear out his welcome with the majority of the audience. True star-making moments come from high-quality matches and legendary performances, not because the company forces the narrative that he is super-strong."
[7.0] "A very fun match; I can't even lie, this was my 2nd-ranked anticipated match for me for Money in the Bank. Bronson Reed looked awesome; he was moving quickly, doing some awesome stuff. The same can be said for Oba Femi; they went hard on each other for eleven minutes. I really enjoyed the chemistry between them. Oba Femi was made to look unbeatable and a monster, but Bronson Reed took him to his limits. Even though Oba Femi got the win, I think both men gained a lot from this match. Bronson Reed really was awesome. So happy he's back and healthy; can't wait for more matches he does, because I needed more of this style of Bronson Reed matches, because whenever he goes up against another big man, it's always magic. But an awesome match; this was a delight to watch."
[6.0] "This match was okay, more a TV match on a PLE really. The match, nor the result really mattered. Reed looks to be in better shape, well done to him."
[7.0] "A solid seven, seriously. If they'd been given more screen time, it would have been an eight. After losing weight, Reed started looking much better, more resilient and faster, and Oba doesn't seem to be lacking in terms of moves in the ring either, even though his move set might seem mundane at first glance."
[8.0] "Bronson Reed was the best worker on the show, bumps extremely well for Oba and proved himself as a very useful guy to have at the top of the card. Oba is obviously Oba and is on his way to being the face of the company so him winning is the correct call. Interference worked well and led to a great false finish. Great stuff all around, 8/10."
[6.0] "Solid match overall, but does Oba really need to kick out after two brass-knuckle shots and a Tsunami? What does it actually take to beat this man? You definitely could've had Bronson win here and then given Femi the win later on. But somehow, this really didn't do much for either of them. The ending was honestly pretty frustrating."
[5.0] "Really quite basic and by the numbers 'Big Guy' tv match with added heel shenanigans with absolutely no value. I mean, it's beyond doubt that this has (at least in the short term) harmed Reed. Oba kicked out of his finish AFTER being punched in the face twice with brass knuckles. Oba wins and it was just fine. Kinda boring to be honest."
[5.0] "Didn't really care for this match, it was nice, specially because it featured some nice and powerful Oba Femi moments, if we analyze his performance in specific I think he managed to look good here, but I was pretty indifferent about the match as a whole, and that's probably because Bronson Reed and his presentation didn't make me care, it was a regular clobbering match, with the two eventually clashing and demonstrating strength, but quickly enough the ending stretch arrived, we had a Vision angle with the brass knuckles, Oba Femi kicked out of everything and thankfully won the match right afterwards - {**1/4}"
[8.0] "I had very low expectations for this match, but then these two just decided to have a really good match. The strikes and maneuvers were just fantastic. It was just back and forth between these two. I had expected them to have no chemistry, but they had tremendous chemistry. Bronson pulling out moves he hasn't done before really caught me off guard. I genuinely thought Bronson was about to win with the help of the Vision, but Oba still managed to kick out. A match that didn't need to be this good."
[6.0] "A good old fashioned hoss battle, can't go wrong with those. Bronson and Oba did exactly what they needed to. Big moves, hard hitting strikes, tons of physicality. This was a lot of fun. Until the end of the match. It was expected that The Vision would come out to help Bronson, who managed to get him the brass knuckles. Bronson nails Oba with two punches then lands a Tsunami. KICK OUT! Oh come on now, that's ridiculous. I know they want to make Oba look strong, but him taking a loss in that way wouldn't have hurt him at all. Oba makes a comeback, hits a Fall From Grace and that's it for the win. So Bronson returns in the best shape of his life just to lose his first match back. It makes no sense. Stupid booking brings this down. 6/10"
[5.0] "A great heavyweight clash where the "new-look" Reed was able to shine. Femi is a logical winner, but the use of overbooking might have allowed Reed to take a big win and justify Femi being so far from the main titles. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Stakes: 0.5/2. Justification: 1/1. Placement on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 0.5/1. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 5.5/10. Match watched on Netflix (FR)."
[5.0] "And with that, Bronson Reed has effectively been nullified. They returned him as this big, scary, monster and yet he loses his first match back. Oba Femi kicking out of two brass knuckles followed by a tsunami is ridiculous, and the fact he rallied back minutes later is insulting. 5"
[8.0] "This hoss battle between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed was a wildly entertaining, heavy-hitting collision of two absolute monsters, delivering great physical action despite some predictable booking hurdles. Both men laid into each other with vicious strikes and incredible power moves, proving that big-man wrestling can still deliver intense, fast-paced action when executed right. Bronson Reed looked phenomenal in his updated persona, showing remarkable agility and pulling out explosive spots to match Oba's relentless power. The mid-match intensity was palpable as they traded massive blows, with Reed utilizing every trick in the book to try and slow down the unstoppable force. The main point of contention came down to the late-stage interference from The Vision and the finishing stretch. Having Reed unload two brass knuckle shots followed by a Tsunami splash, only for Oba Femi to kick out and power through to hit the Fall From Grace, stretched the bounds of invincibility a bit too far. While it certainly cements Oba as an absolute powerhouse, making Reed kick out of or survive so much only to fall short risks making opponents look weak and paints WWE into a corner regarding who can realistically beat him next. Still, as a pure hoss fight filled with jaw-dropping displays of strength and hard-hitting sequences, it was a thoroughly fun spectacle. Rating: 8/10"
[5.0] "Stupid booking. For as credible as Oba Femi looks to beat anyone in the world, he could never possibly eat two brass knuckles and a Tsunami, kick out and come back a minute later to win. Surely he was gonna be put over the entire Vision, but making him Super Oba and overpushing him will only make it harder for fans to respect and make sense of the booking when he eventually has to lose to one or two Roman Reigns' spears, right?"
[6.0] "A really interesting match on paper that was brought down by some lazy booking and interference that took away any impact. We all know Oba vs Roman is gonna be the direction for Wrestlemania, so both of their matches feel completely inconsequential at the moment. This was a match to tick some boxes that needed ticking instead of adding anything to either man's story or image."
[5.0] "A match that did very little for me, with a one-sided finish that I had already anticipated as soon as I considered the possibility that they simply wanted to push straight ahead with Oba and completely undermine The Vision's credibility. And that's exactly what happened. Oba kicks out in the closing moments after taking two punches with a brass knuckle and a Tsunami splash, a move that nobody has ever managed to kick out of. Truly, truly disappointing. There was no attempt to elevate Bronson Reed in his return from injury, nor any effort to make The Vision look credible and threatening. In terms of in-ring action, there were zero mistakes or botches. Everything was executed very well, which is why I find it difficult to give this match a failing grade. However, for me, storytelling is what matters most, especially when you already have established in-ring performers facing each other. After the terrible booking of Breakker, this match only confirms yet another poor handling of The Vision. At this point, there's nothing visionary about them anymore."
[4.0] "When this match was announced I was already a little concerned. To me, it felt more like a match that belonged on RAW than on a major PPV. I was hoping the two competitors would prove me wrong and deliver something worthy of the occasion, but unfortunately, they didn't."
"[7.0] A damn good hoss fight between two very over wrestlers. It is held back by a near-exact recreation of the Vision's run-in from Oba's clash with Breakker at SNME, but an otherwise fun match."
[6.0] "That moonsault from Reed is crazy, obviously Oba is an animal, I just wish there was some more (or maybe less) to chew on here. There's a great match somewhere in here but it should've been 8 minutes or 20, playing in between like this leaves the pacing in a rough spot. Love the finish sequence, Femi is just better to watch dominate than anybody else."
[7.0] "Solid match here, I actually liked this match more than the Bron vs Oba match, it was very fun to watch. Of course you just have to have the Vision interfere, can we end that faction now? It's progressively aggravating seeing them interfere in everything. Also I have no idea for future reference how somebody can even beat Oba Femi for the world title considering he kicks out of literally everything."
[7.0] "I really enjoyed this match actually. I thought Femi and Reed both equally had a perfect amount of momentum to keep it believable, or semi-believable. I do think a brass knucks hit and a tsunami was curtains as it would make sense then Oba kicked out of 2. I feel like they do overdo it with Oba sometimes, however besides that being my only criticism, I feel like this is the correct direction with Oba Femi, matches where he can actually wrestle than a quick throw, Fall from Grace and pin, 1 minute match job done. I thoroughly enjoyed it."
[7.0] "7.5 - I could watch these two wrestle forever. Their size, strength, and agility are such unique packages, yet they work so well together, almost like Oba vs Brock but there's so much more Reed can do."
Typisches Raw Match."
[6.0] "After Oba Femi takes two full hits from the brass knuckles, in my opinion, he shouldn't be allowed to win the match anymore. That would have been a plausible loss and would have really poured fuel on the fire of their feud. Instead, after the Tsunami, he switches into invincibility mode and finishes off his opponent with three brutal impacts. It's a timid decision--namely, to once again let Femi walk away unscathed against all obstacles--and it doesn't help his opponent one bit. Up to that point, though, the match isn't bad at all; it has a tight narrative and some quality moments that are entertaining. But in the end, none of that matters. Sometimes I just don't know what they're thinking."
[7.0] "A good heavyweight match. I hope this feud continues because, honestly, I'm enjoying it even more than the feud with Bron. The match doesn't go on for too long, which I think works well. The only minor issue is Reed losing in his return match, but I'm afraid they currently intend to use him solely as Bron's sidekick. An interesting match overall, and honestly, I was expecting much worse."
[7.0] "I'm never against someone returning and losing their first marquee match when it is against the right opponent and a good match and for Reed, this was both. He had a solid opponent who gave him a good match. Hopefully this isn't the end of the push for Reed though. A solid big man match, with interference from the heels that did not come to fruition."
"[3.25*] Fun monster vs. monster match. Very physical match and made both men look very strong, especially Oba. Bronson in this match looked great and was able to show off his power and agility here. The Vision getting involved didn't help this match at all and made everyone besides Oba look like a geek. Oba kicking out of 2 brass knuckle shots, 1 tsunami, a death valley driver and then proceeding to hit a Fall From Grace to win was beast."
[7.0] "Oba/Reed is good. Reed was brilliant, showcasing both his physical strength and agility. The match also had a powerful side to it, which was interesting. Oba winning makes sense."
[8.0] "WWE knows how to book a true Goliath-versus-Goliath fight, and this was monstrous in the best possible way. Bronson Reed remains incredibly impressive and continues to look like someone with a huge future ahead of him, while Oba Femi feels completely unstoppable at this stage of his career. The physicality, power exchanges and sheer presence of both men made the match feel massive. More than anything, Oba's momentum is becoming a story in itself now : he keeps climbing, keeps surviving bigger challenges, and the real question is starting to become who can possibly stop him."
[9.0] "The match was good, it was a hard hitting big man match. If it went for 5 minutes it would be a 10 ratings for me but for now I'll settle with a 9. I still think they have 2 more matches to complete this Trilogy."
[5.0] "A very forgettable match with a spectacular first part, which ended with the expected overbooking, which, although it showed Femi very strong, looked weak, and the match felt more like a main event of the TV episode."
[6.0] "Oba/Bron was better but this was fine, I guess. How many more Paul Heyman guys do we need to feed to Oba at this point? Just give him a four on one handicap match, that'd be interesting ***"
[7.0] "Oba and bronson really had a hard hitting match, really great and nice to see bronson back and oba still winning in a defiant way, both were powerhouses, the matchnhad a good length too. I'm giving this a 7 because this is one of the best oba matches in his start here in wwe, and gave it well. Props to Reed for taking great bumps and very glad to have them both In a singles match"
[7.0] "Pretty good match, I've not really enjoyed much of Oba's main roster run, mainly because he seems to make every match feel a bit... easy. But here he actually gave Bronson quite a lot, and he sold it well - much more reminiscent of the NXT days. It means that when Bronson wins, he feels like he's beaten an actual threat, and it elevates him, rather than him just seeming like some big impervious machine. That being said, I could have done without the kickout of the double brass knucks into the Tsunami. I thought Oba avoiding it was the more interesting option; which they went for earlier in the match, but if you keep it as this huge threat which Oba know he has to avoid, rather than just power through, it makes Bronson still look hyper threatening, while make Oba look more calculated and intelligent. Still, some good stuff in this one. A great big man battle, that fall from grace for the finish looked spectacular."
[7.0] "Very good sprint of a match, in the same vein of Brock vs Oba in Italy. I still prefer the match in Italy but this was also pretty great, especially as Bronson's first singles match since coming back from injury (and just fist match in general if I'm not mistaken)"
[6.0] "Real solid big man match. Seems like we aren't done w it tho but it's fine. Nothing memorable but there was some real good exchanges between the two of these guys. Idk when they will pull the trigger on Oba. He won kotr almost 5 months ago. Absolutely ridiculous. (***1/4)"
[8.0] "Shoutout to (Not So) Big Bronson Reed, he was put in a spot where he needed to swim in his first big match of return and he did so in a big way. Oba looks like an unstoppable unit and the vision shenanigans were kept at a minimum. This was very great stuff"
[8.0] "Great match, exactly what this needed to be and was paced super well. Bronson Reed got some cool spots in while making Oba look like an absolute beast. Nice touch with Bronson hitting a jagged edge. Always pops me to see him attempt the moonsault as well"
[6.0] "It wasn't a great match, but it wasn't a bad one either. It was that typical WWE match where you know the wrestlers could deliver something much better, but the producers and bookers have to rein them in and won't let them fully unleash their talents."
[8.0] "Outstanding physical hard hitting match. Oba Femi gets the pinfall win over Bronson Reed following a Fall From Grace powerbomb. Femi wins despite the interference from The Vision and a Tsunami from Reed. One of the best performances in Femi's young career in my opinion."
[6.0] "An absolutely fine match that made Oba Femi look great in victory. Bronson Reed was noticeably smaller since I last saw him and without the camera trickery he had in New Japan it's hard to buy him as a monster, especially next to a guy like Oba. This was fine as a planned comedown after the womens MITB match."
[8.0] "A really great match that makes both Bronson Reed and Oba Femi look like monsters. The interference didn't overstay either and really just did a good job of making Femi look like a monster with him kicking out of brass knuckle hits and a tsunami. Great match"
[7.0] "This was a good hoss fight, it felt like this was a first encounter built to be called back upon in a later match, and the story of the match didn't feel as big of a component of the match as the aura, but this audience didn't give a piss past the entrances. Oba looks great, Bronson looks like a beast, it just feels this match largely did nothing other than give us lore to call back on later, but in the moment it's quite underwhelming."
[8.0] "This match was very entertaining. It was very hard hitting with a bunch of great spots too. Bronson Reed and Oba Femi both looked really good in this match. Easily match of the night in my opinion. Great performance from these two. definitely an upgrade from the last match. 8/10"
[6.0] "Standard Monday Night Raw paint-by-numbers match. As hoss fights go, it's not too bad as Oba and Bronson are decently athletic, but you know it's one of those matches where it's "Oba's in it, so he basically squashes everyone" and "Bronson's in it, so expect Vision bullshit". Which is exactly what we got. The problem is, how are you keeping Oba warm in the four months between now and the Rumble?"
[6.0] "Just there. Wasn't a bad match, wasn't a great match. Right winner but everything with Oba right now just feels like killing time, there's no jeopardy to any of his matches, he's either winning or they're not going to have a finish. They tried to put some doubt in your mind here but I don't think it was particularly effective."
"This was basically another "Oba squashes a heavyweight match". For me Oba's wrestling is better in NXT and aura is better on the main roster. I don't know if that makes sense to anybody here. Overall I thought the match was good nothing too crazy. I just knew this man would kick out of the brass knuckles spot. I give this a 6/10 as well."
[6.0] "This match sort of just happened with really nothing notable going on. Bronson Reed looks pretty weak following this match and this version of the Vision is becoming so tiring to see. They're going to wait for WrestleMania, but Oba needs to be strapped up ASAP. ***"
[7.0] "Pretty good and probably Oba's most competitive match yet. Bronson looked good in his return but Oba still won. Somewhat questionable in my opinion to have Oba kick out of that Tsunami. Oba has been presented a little too strong for a while so I'm not even that surprised but in the future I don't see hoe he could realistically have competitive matches even with someone like Finn Balor"
[6.0] "I mean this was really one you would describe as one of the matches of all time. Just like Oba vs Bron it felt very much underwhelming with them just doing a lot of basic big man shit for most of the match. Like they could of done something really fun in this but it was just a standard amount of big man spots in the ring. Reed is fun because he can hit some cool shit for a man of his size. But Oba has still been yet to really impress me in a singles match since coming onto the main roster as they all are very similar which don't help him. The finishing stretch was just egregious levels of bullshit with some weak interference and then Oba kicking out of two brass knuckle shots and a tsunami. Oba then got the win with the fall from grace which is bloody impressive he can do it on someone Reed's size. So yeah overall this was pretty mid and didn't do anything you haven't seen before if you have seen a single match from either man. They also need to do something big with Oba as at this point every match not for a belt is pointless as he is either winning or we are getting no finish. (***)"
[7.0] "Big hoss fight. I would've loved them to have traded strikes a bit longer but hey ho. Bronson Reed 2.0 is a great watch, he's a lot more agile than he was (and he was already agile for his size! ) but lost none of his power seemingly. There was a suplex early on that Reed landed straight on his arse which I'm sure sucked for him. They then traded big moves before The Vision got involved. I really could've done without that here, I don't think the match needed it and I think they could've had interference and the brass knucks kickout in a rematch after Bronson loses by himself first. This was still fun though. There is no talent more worthy of the word Special (with a capital) than Oba Femi."
[7.0] "Solid hoss battle threatened to be derailed by the perennial annoyingness of Logan Paul and "The Vision" getting involved. I have no earthly clue what is happening with Obas KOTR but I hope they don't waste it. Regardless, glad he won here because the KOTR should not be losing before his title match. Rating: 3.5 Stars. ***1/2"
[4.0] "I hope this isn't where they're going with Oba Femi; this match ultimately made Bronson Reed look not very impressive. He wasn't able to put Oba Femi away with two brass knuckles shots and a tsunami? This should've been a much better match but it was just too predictable."
[7.0] "Really solid hoss fight, where Bronson Reed is out to prove that he can match the physicality and presence of Oba Femi. It felt like the old JONAH was back: moving side to side at great speed, doing suicide dives, attempting moonsaults, all while still being strong as hell."
[4.0] "I have no idea who asked for this. With the Vision now just a jobbing faction full of boring wrestlers, they posed no conceivable threat to Oba Femi, who I'm yet to be blown away by. Having Femi face Brock and beat him twice put him in a corner immediately, hence his sparse TV appearances. This match also further damages the credibility of Bronson Reed being a threat, who barely got any offence in for an 11 minutes match."
[6.0] "This was just fine in my opinion. Bronson Reed has never been an out of this world wrestler and Oba really showcases himself against shorter and more agile competitors. We had them hit their big spots, some cool back and forth and some Vision stuff. Ending was fine. [***]"
[7.0] "Solid hoss battle dominated by Oba before Reed took advantage on the outside. He kept control before missing a tsunami. Oba was back in control before nearly being derailed by an interference spot which ultimately served to make him look even stronger. Emphatic finish to a pretty fun monster brawl. 3.75* 7"
[8.0] "That's what I thought the match was really good. It featured some pretty heavy wrestling, in my opinion, but that actually worked in its favor. 8/10. Oba Femi keeps on dominating, though I wonder if anyone will actually beat him before WrestleMania 43, SummerSlam, and beyond; the way things are going, I don't think so. That's the only downside his strength isn't really being balanced out. Still, Oba is a very good wrestler, and Bronson looks phenomenal in his new persona."
[4.0] "Without question the weakest match on the show so far. It was fine in concept since it would setup two meaty men to slap each others meat, but it didn't really play that way. The Vision's interference was predictable and was more of a matter of when rather than if. Oba winning was also not surprising"
[6.0] "That was fun. A nice clash between two really good wrestlers. Nothing mind-blowing, but it helped build Oba up, and I'm really happy to see how STRONG his character work and booking have been. Now I'm curious to see how they're gonna book his first loss. They gotta be careful to keep things consistent and make sure his character development continues to be well-written."
