The DQ finish didn? t bother me that much because it made sense with Strong hovering around ringside throughout the match. The booking in NXT is such where they don? t have their champions lose non-title matches very often, so clearly WWE wanted to keep the champs strong while not booking the faces to lose either. Dunne and Riddle continue to impress as a team while Ciampa? s offense always looks brutal. (***1/2)"
[8.0] "Typical WWE six-man tag team match but this is not a criticism at all because matches like this are always very dynamic and rhythmic, especially when it pits such great workers against each other. It was very good with a good heel-work from UE on Dunne to build the hot-tag and then it was a huge sprint to the end where everyone was involved and had time to shine. I liked how they booked Ciampa's entry into the match towards the end and the way his confrontation with Cole was brought to us, it was fantastic. Also, my favorite one-on-one sequence in this match-up was the one between O'Reilly and Riddle, such a match I would love to see one day. I also enjoyed Strong's involvement in the match and the finish didn't bother me at all. Overall it was a really fun multi-man tag to build even more TakeOver Portland."
