[7.0] "Pleasantly surprised, this was better than expected. Both women are on the psychically larger side so they were able to bring it to eachother. Lizzy has some nice strikes (don't know why, but I really liked her low spinning heel kick) and Kali is an athletic specimen with everything apart from maybe age on her side. Finish caught me off guard also as I figured Lizzy was going over. Good clean, back and forth battle. Good opener."

[5.0] "Fine match of 2 different styles women's wrestling. The second part of this match was more intresting and Kali, surprisely for me won."

[6.0] "This opener between Lizzy Rain and Kali Armstrong was a decent, high-energy sprint that just never quite found the extra gear it needed to be truly memorable. Both women had some solid exchanges, and Kali getting the win with the pounce made total sense, but the in-ring action felt capped at a certain level and left you wanting more intensity. That said, the post-match angle completely saved it, with Skylar Raye making her return from EVOLVEE to lay out Armstrong and instantly give herself a clear, aggressive direction on NXT. It's right on the fence, and while I'd technically lean around a 6.5 for the smart booking and the hot angle, I'll round it down to a 6 because the match itself left a bit too much on the table."

[6.0] "An okay opener that never quite found the intensity it needed. Lizzy Rain and Kali Armstrong had some solid exchanges, but the match felt like it had another gear it never reached. Kali winning made sense, while Skylar Raye's post-match return and attack was ultimately the most interesting part and immediately gave her a clear direction in NXT."

[6.0] "This was an okay opener, as we saw Lizzy Rain and Kali Armstrong go at it in this match. I thought this match could've been a lot better, as I wish there were more moments where the intensity and tone of the match picked up. In the end, Kali Armstrong got the win, but the bigger story came after the match when EVOLVE's Skylar Raye attacked Armstrong. Raye made her return to NXT with a message, and she clearly wants to make an impact right away."
