[3.0] "We really absolutely did not need 20+ minutes of Baron Corbin in-ring time to start any show in 2026. Corbin has always been an immensely boring wrestler with his selling point being his height mainly. Trick's main roster run so far has also been really uninspired every time he is in the ring with stinkers against pretty much all of his challengers. This match was really boring and not much else as it just buffered to pass the time as the Lil Yachty apparently really did damage on Corbin. This thoroughly sucked and the ending was greatly needed when Trick hits the Trick Shot for three and to win the championship back, talk about pointless reigns. Rating: *1/2"
[6.0] "Baron Corbin is very safe. Doesn't get hurt, doesn't hurt people. Baron Corbin is also very boring and as such, this match was exactly what I feared it would be. There were a couple of nice nearfalls that means this gets to decent territory: after the Yachty-assisted big boot from Trick and then after the Title shot from Corbin. Trick comes out with the win and regains US Championship gold, but if you only watch from the moment Corbin rolls out to get the Title, you'll have seen all that matters."
[5.0] "Trick Williams and Baron Corbin again showed an average match. Slow and almost without intresting spots, but the finish I liked here more than on the other their matches."
[5.0] "Average, meat and potatoes WWE match until the ending stretch. I liked the ending stretch with Yachty trying to help Trick and Trick kicking out of the belt shot. I still am not the biggest fan of Williams or his weak looking finisher, but a basic title match like this washed the bad taste of the previous "match" out of my mouth."
"I am a Baron Corbin fan. This was just average Corbin to me. His second match in a row. Crowd was really into this near the end. It is their first real action and Baron was setup to lose after the opening 5 minutes. Solid enough alongside the other part, but I still don't know what to expect from Trick matches and I watched the shit out of NXT."
[7.0] "Solid and enjoyable match. Obviously going immediately into the match after Corbin and Yachty so Corbin has excuses for the loss. Thought the in-ring action was good and proved the criticisms thrown towards both guys wrong. One of the false finishes had me thinking Corbin was going to retain again. Crowd seemed into Trick and really loved his win."
[4.0] "A better match than the previous one, because it was actually a decent wrestling match, but still far beyond any level of excellence... that was dull for several times, and Corbin just had a really lackluster performance, things couldn't get interesting, and there wasn't a major story going on. The crowd enjoyed the title change, and after a pretty drowsy match, things managed to get a little hotter and Trick won the title. The ending stretch had some thrill, even if the quality wasn't the highest - {*3/4}"

[4.0] "The fact alone that this title match is even happening is an absolute outrage, but whoever is responsible for turning back the clock six weeks and letting Williams take the title again deserves to be publicly slapped in the face multiple times. What's the point of this? It turns Corbin back into the laughingstock he was before he left the company--character, adieu; future prospects, goodbye. Sure, the match has its moments, but they're predictable; Williams' weaknesses are excessively concealed, and the result is just infuriating."
[4.0] "Eh, it was alright. Though logically it didn't really make sense considering how Trick went 10+ minutes against a guy who couldn't seriously beat Lil Yachty. Putting the title back on Trick was the right call, but not really sure where they go from with the feud because it has seemingly reached the point of "what's the point now"."
[4.0] "I actually enjoyed a little bit of this match, given that Baron Corbin wrestled a match beforehand. Trick Williams had the advantage of a fresh body and full stamina, while Baron Corbin was a little out of it. But this match was a lot better than the SummerSlam match, in my opinion. Baron Corbin basically was a transitional champion; knowing he still held Trick Williams' custom belt, we knew Trick Williams was going to win the title back eventually. But Trick Williams got the win, and the crowd erupted, happy for Trick Williams. Hopefully, we can get a proper Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams rivalry now, with the WWE United States Title le back on Trick Williams shoulders."
[4.0] "I mean i guess it was better than their first match at summerslam but that wasn't hard. But once again they have Melo doing nothing and released Ilja to still have these two feuding over a title like what are we doing. Once again i am left baffled that Trick is pushed as much as he has been. Because out side of an entrance and about 3 moves he truly his one of the most basic in ring talents i have ever seen. Then does beating Corbin even look impressive when they nuked his credibility by having him fail to beat a rapper before this match. Also yeah he is a safe worker but outside of that run with Bron in the Dusty Classic Corbin is up there with the most boring blokes i have ever seen in wrestling. So yeah free the US title from this shit don't help smackdown has pretty much no midcard but god just put it back on Melo. (**)"

The pacing is mediocre and the moves are basic, but it tells a decent story and offers a bit of tension that makes the whole thing acceptable. In-ring quality: 1.5/5. Stakes: 1.5/2. [7.0] "Nice match this felt longer than 11 minutes i thought this was like 16 minutes. Putting the title on Trick again is a good change, i mean what business does Corbin have to be champion. This was actually a fun match and Trick is becoming a bigger and bigger star in the wwe. Made the US title look good with this match"
[7.0] "Yeah this was pretty fun, they did a good job here. I fell that it was their best match so far actually. I get Trick winning in his hometown and thanks to his age and momentum, it's understandable. I hope that this is not Corbin's final wwe title run though."

Trick Williams and Lil Yachty brought off-the-charts charisma, slick swagger, and pure star power to the ring. While it relied heavily on spectacle and celebrity crossover appeal over technical mastery, the electric crowd response, seamless showmanship, and infectious energy made it an undeniably fun, crowd-pleasing moment."
[3.0] "For a guy touted as the future of the industry, Trick Williams is remarkably dull inside the squared circle. Nothing he does looks at all impactful; he may as well be tickling his opponents with the fur on his custom US Championship. It is especially egregious as his finisher is a strike, so all of his opponents look like goofs for losing to a flying knee that very visibly doesn't connect much of the time as indeed it did not during this bout. Corbin was competent enough to lead him through the match, but nothing that was done felt either creative or exciting. The match featured the perfunctory nearfalls that all WWE championship matches must now feature, but none of them were remotely convincing save maybe the belt shot toward the very end. Overall, Trick is really going to have to improve between the ropes if he has any hope of being a permanent mainstay in the main event into the far future. He's charismatic yes, but that will only carry him so far before he is expected to be able to perform main event level matches consistently. And yes, WWE is a less workrate-centric promotion that most, but ring work still matters at the highest level. *3/4"
[3.0] "Mediocre match for the US title. After the disgraceful Yachty farce where Corbin couldn't beat a rapper in 5 minutes, Trick comes out for his title shot. This was yet another boring, uninteresting match in their horrible feud. They go through the motions, hitting each other with moves. Corbin gets frustrated and hits Trick with the belt for a near fall. Trick gets out of an End of Days attempt, hits a Trick Shot for the win. Trick regains the ugly, covered in fake fur US title. Couldn't care less about this crap. 3/10"
[3.0] "Look, we can't keep ignoring this. Truck Williams is a really bad bell to bell wrestler. Put him in the ring with a mediocre wrestler who can't carry him and the flaws are blatant and undeniable. The ting to mask that by pointing 'Lil Yachty' (f**k me) in the ring isn't cutting it. Glacially paced, badly worked, badly produced. The payoff was basically nil."
[6.0] "Fun match to follow up the initial one. The back and forth here was pretty good, they haad some nice exchanges with some basic graps and strike - nothing particularly excessive, but all well executed, well paced, and structured to give both guys a good amount of time on top. Finish was quite nice too - they trade signature moves with a Book End and a Deep Six, Corbin goes to use the title belt, fighting it away from Yachty, but trick is able to land a kick, however Yachty being dragged into the ring while fighting for the belt allows Corbin to hit Trick with the belt, but Trick kicks out, surviving the thing that cost him in the last 2 matches, and Trick is able to flip out of the End of Days and land the Trick Shot for the win. Glad to see the strap back on Trick, not quite sure why they took it off him for a month, but it's been a decent little arc."
"This match was fine; nothing happened here to get you excited. In-ring work was okay, but that was to be expected with Trick and Corbin since all the other matches had okay in-ring performances as well. Trick winning back the title didn't surprise me, but I just hope that we get Carmelo Hayes vs Trick Williams next."
[5.0] "It's nice that Trick/Corbin followed straight after. Unfortunately, the match itself wasn't. It was mediocre. Trick still put in a decent performance, but Corbin was painfully slow. The result's good, with Trick winning the belt. Why did they let Corbin win at SummerSlam?"
[5.0] "Competent, but honestly nothing special. But what do you expect for this matchup? Trick still has the issue of only being as good as his opponent, and while Corbin is a consummate professional, that doesn't mean he's going to particularly blow you away with any supposed in-ring prowess."
[4.0] "Was fairly dull and uninteresting for most of it, crowd did start to react in the closing portion of the match but wow I was getting sleepy at points. In-ring work wasn't sloppy by any means, but these two just aren't an interesting pair against each other"
[4.0] "Well, this still wasn't good, but it was the 2nd best match against each other. The in-ring work was solid, but the storyline between them just wasn't interested at all. I knew it was obvious Trick was gonna win the title back, so the outcome didn't surprise me at all."
[6.0] "At least it was better than the first match. Had some decent action, but nothing spectacular or anything and had a predictable finish. They need to take Yachty out of this storyline and let Trick stand on his own again. Not the worst thing you will ever see, but not amazing"
