[9.0] "Great action-packed main event between these five fantastic performers who obviously couldn't deliver anything bad together, it was absolutely unthinkable given the workers present and the context they were put in as they were facing each other in the main event of this episode of SmackDown (which was the last match of 2018 for WWE) to determine Daniel Bryan's challenger at the Royal Rumble PPV. So there was something at stake, which provided investment from the crowd and there was obviously the action which was super qualitative from the first second to the last. All the wrestlers worked their asses off and worked well together under a catchy rhythm and a crowd totally into it, a really enjoyable spotfest to watch with for me Mustafa Ali being the MVP. I would have liked to see more content with Styles and the ending was a bit random but overall it was excellent."
[8.0] "A hectic but good match to decide who was going to fight Bryan at the Rumble. I loved the aggression that AJ brought because it showed how much he wants to win this match. Everyone looked good in this match."
[8.0] "A very good and organic spotfest turned out, where everyone showed himself in full. I would especially highlight Samoa Joe and Mustafa Ali, they raised the level of the match extremely qualitatively. My assessment of this fight ****1/4."
