There's a lot of trepidation here in the spots, so it doesn't feel super smooth. For someone so small, Riho's selling leaves a lot to be desired. There's a weird moment where Britt kinda calls for the crossbody from Riho, but then rolls through it so I guess it works? I think the issue here with Riho is that while she's very small, she's working like there's no size discrepancy in this match. The announcers are obviously mentioning it because its so apparent, but the match isn't being worked as if there is a size difference. More messiness with a failed pick up by Britt, A running dropkick is kicked out of on the pin attempt by Riho. Nice swinging fisherman's suplex by Britt and then a superkick a la Adam Cole, Riho kicks out of a deep 2 count. Riho hits some slaps and then Britt hits some strikes of her own, this doesn't look very good before Riho hits a bridging fisherman's suplex and then a single leg crab is locked in. Britt crawls to the rope, Riho immediately gets up and hits a great diving footstomp to the spine of Britt, kick out at two. Riho hits a double knee strikes to the spine, Britt kicks out again. Britt ducks the second running knee strikes and hits a bad discuss forearm, then Britt gets the lockjaw in, but Riho won't open her mouth, which is just dumb, Riho then rolls Britt up out of the lockjaw and gets the pin. Not a great match by any means. This just wasn't wrestled very well, there were a LOT of miscommunication issues, and nothing really flowed. I dont think Riho or Britt came out of this looking particularly good, and just don't think it was put together all that well. |

In this one, she botched on an arm drag sequence and we can easily guess what the opponent is supposed to do by reading her body language. How can she be considered a relevant challenger ? Riho did quite well and the match remains pretty decent, but none of them can claim to be able to carry the women's division on their shoulders, in my opinion. |
