Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. The Blade & The Butcher

[8.0] "Another really great brawl. Quite different from Eddie/Cody. More of a spotfest but really fun nonetheless. Some fun spots and some really nasty ones. Specifically Blade completely whiffing the table on the dive to the outside. Awesome finish and one of my more memorable moments of the Dailys Place era."

[6.0] "Decent spotfest. The Bucks brought their usual creativity and the Butcher and Blade looked good here. They utilized their environment super well. I didn't buy into any of the nearfalls but that didn't take much away I guess. It's a solid enough match. ***"

[9.0] "Amazing match: the beginning in the kitchen was super fun and the superkick on the escalators was hilarious. Not a huge fan of brawls but this was very entertaining and exciting. They moved closer to the ring and the action was still fun despite a couple of table that didn't want to break. The ending spot with the double dive on the tables was fantastic. One of the best falls count anywhere and the best in the Buchter and the Blade's carrers in Aew. 9/10 - 4.5*/5*"

[7.0] "This one started off in the kitchen but eventually made it to the arena. It was pretty decent and is one of the better Butcher and Blade matches I've seen. Obviously working with the young bucks probably helped that. The finish with the table spots was nice. A bigger crowd would elevated this match a bit but eh it is what is, big crowds didn't return for another year, so at least there was some crowd reaction at all."

[9.0] "Fantastic work here, one of the best Falls Count Anywhere matches I have ever seen, everyone in this match deserves credit."

[8.0] "A super fun match. Started strong with shenanigans in the kitchen, lots of fun moments. More of a brawl to begin but nothing wrong with that, before they moved to the ring. I thought the Bucks looked great, tons of fast hard offense, and B&B looked strong as well. Great ending. Sad to see how B&B have been diminished in current AEW."

[9.0] "Amazing match between the Young Bucks and Butcher & Blade right here in a special and unique setting as we like to see, for most fans we have been watching wrestling for so long that it has become difficult to surprise us with original content and yet these four men managed to do it in only fifteen minutes in the middle of a show on television so kudos to them for that. For me this is typically what a Falls Count Anywhere match should be, you always have to push the stipulation far and that's how you get the best matches, that's why I liked Jeff Hardy vs Umaga so much in this same stipulation that took place fifteen years ago now. No goofy stuff like golf karts here but pure brawl with lots of innovative spots, lots of interesting moments and an absolutely perfect rhythm so that you don't get lost in the action. Everything about it ruled and I loved it when at that time AEW took advantage of the situation to do things like that in the Daily's Place for our pleasure. Phenomenal stuff, and that ending spot was insane."

[7.0] "Pretty fun short match-up between the two teams. Butcher and Blade show promise with their tag team power moves, and utilize their surroundings, but ultimately, this is a spotfest."

[9.0] "Crazy match with tons of cool looking spots, as you? d expect. The Young Bucks always deliver, and they made Butcher and Blade look like a million bucks here, no pun intended. Exactly what it should have been."

[6.0] "This was fun and all, but the first half of the match was basically garbage brawling, and the second half was better, but Blade brutally botches a spot, and they try to convince me that a submission in the ring in a falls count anywhere match could be the ending. Two big dives end up being the much more satisfying conclusion of the match, which, again, is fun, but it doesn't automatically make it a great match. ***1/4"

[7.0] "Probably the most enjoyable Butcher and The Blade match in AEW so far, which was helped at least a little by the fact that The Butcher was wearing an apron throughout, which isn't usually justifiable but looked pretty cool here. Enough action and silliness to be entertaining. Not what I would call a 'Good' match in an of itself but it had the kind of chaos which keeps the tempo up and makes an episode go by so quickly. It's been a while since Dynamite felt like that for me. This match helped carry the momentum in the first half of the episode. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there."

[9.0] "Great creative tag match that allowed for both some tough fighting and some slightly wacky character stuff, like the fight in the butcher's section of the kitchen and the brawl around the truck/escalator. Hope Parks is ok after missing that dive though, yeesh."

[9.0] "One of my favorite matches of the year and so insanely fun! I love that at all started backstage too. It really felt like the kind of match you would play with your friends on an old Smackdown video game. Butcher & The Blade continue to impress in incredible fashion."

[9.0] "A ridiculously fun match that out over how great Butcher and Blade are. They've grown so much since their debut and really feel like a top team right now. The Bucks worked with them well and just overall a ton of fun moments and spots, some really brutal ones too like Blade smacking the table on the outside dive. Overall as great as hoped to out both teams over ****1/4"

[9.0] "I really enjoyed this match, it was exciting and nonstop action from the kitchen all the way to the ring. Butcher and Blade look better and better every week and have earned their keep in this match, even if the Bucks were still the right choice for victors in my opinion. The finishing sequence was awesome as well. If Dynamite wants to show more action like this every week, I will not complain."

[8.0] "Love the way the match started in the kitchen. Some extremely entertaining spots between the two teams especially the ending."

[9.0] "Very fun match with some crazy spots and insane bumps. The Bucks is as entertaining as usual and The Butcher & The Blade looked really good too. ****1/4."

[9.0] "I'm absolutely obsessed with Butcher and Blade's current aesthetic (the hipster glasses & white pants? the aprons? the fact they are two old halfway bald dudes? ) so I'll watch them in any capacity but this match was great fun on top of that. Insane bumps, constantly jaw dropping spots, fun brawling..."

[9.0] "This was the best use of the stipulation I can remember and actually made more sense with the lack of fans. The Bucks weregreat and I like that we get to compare them and FTR against the same teams. Nice slow-burning story."

[8.0] "This was a fun match. A typical Young Bucks entertainer. Butcher and The Blade looked really good with the beatdown spots. Also add in the goofiness, real fun to watch."

[9.0] "A wild falls count anywhere match and quite possibly the best match in the careers of the Butcher and the Blade. The chemistry of the two teams is off the charts. Hope to see more matches like these from the two Bs."
