[9.0] "I would put this about on par with the Liger vs. Danielson singles bout from the previous night. Extremely fun from start to finish. Ki being there was a lot of fun with him just being the arrogant, hard-hitting prick that he is."

[8.0] "Really fun match, definitely a notch above Liger's ROH debut the previous night. I really enjoyed seeing Danielson and Low Ki team up as heels, and thought they had a good showing together here. Low Ki's Phoenix Splash is just awesome, too. It was a match that was more about the star power than anything else, but it was still entertaining wrestling in its own right, and had a nice 'feel good' vibe to the whole thing. I would have liked to see more between Low Ki and Samoa Joe (the reluctance to ever pull the trigger on the rematch will always feel disappointing to me), but aside from that this was a really entertaining main event."

[6.0] "A pretty basic tag match. Low Ki and Bryan were amazing heels in this, breaking the rules at any chance. Joe's hot tag was nice and there were some cool moments like Low Ki's phoenix splash but nothing too memorable. Was nice to see Liger get the win though - ***"

[6.0] "It's all well and good having 3 great wrestlers in a tag match, but if the remaining wrestler is extremely overrated, relatively un-athletic, and past his prime, yet the entire match is based around him, then the match won't be as great as it should be. Yeah, I've never hidden on this site that I'm not the biggest fan of Liger, since neither his offence nor his selling has ever felt as compelling to me as it apparently is/was to 99.9% of other people. I understand that he was the attraction of this match, but he really held it back. The match started with some really good striking and grappling between Danielson and Joe, but Liger eventually tagged in to start running through his first series of "best of" spots. The crowd understandably loved all of it, but for me, it didn't do much. In fact, I found it hard to take his offence seriously considering how much more hard-hitting the other 3's offences were by comparison. Liger definitely didn't perform any "bad" moves, but he definitely didn't perform any impressive or exciting ones either. What made the match still pretty good was how Low Ki and Danielson brutally worked Liger over, completely dismantling and isolating him in the best enjoyable way possible (and I'm not just saying that because it was cathartic to see one of the most overrated wrestlers of all time get shown-up by two genuinely great wrestlers, although that definitely helped from my POV). Liger's babyface-selling. as I've always found, was pretty limited and not especially compelling (and as usual, it's not like the face-obscuring mask assisted him at all), but his general real-time selling of both his opponents' attacks was good enough. The match naturally always picked up whenever Joe got in the ring to get revenge on Danielson and Low Ki's dominance over Liger by bashing them up with his far more powerful attacks, with his interactions with the both of them always being enjoyably stiff and intense. Liger did some more of his "best of" spots the next times he tagged in, again none of which was impressive but at least solid. The various near falls in the final 1/3rd were all pretty mediocre because it never like the moves that set them up were believable enough as match-finishers, plus it was always obvious whenever the non-legal wrestlers was about to break up a pin. Joe ultimately helped Liger set-up the Liger Bomb for the win, which at least excused 40-year-old Liger getting the win over the younger, established stars of the promotion. I guess Liger was still somewhat protected and pushed in Japan at the time, so it makes sense that he would have to not get pinned here at the very least. Quite good match due to the 3 ROH guys. ***1/4"

[7.0] "Definitely not the best match of the night, but still a very good main event to feature the junior legend."

[8.0] "Enjoyable tag match here. Joe was a total beast. And both Bryan and Ki were really hated by the crowd. Very good match ***½"
