Mini Vikingo vs. Rey Fenix

[8.0] "Fenix continues to defend his reign well. But here, Mini caught my eye. He manages to keep up with Fenix, earns his respect, and even came close to winning several times. It could have been a passing of the torch, but maybe next time. Mini won't win his first AAA title this show, but he can definitely win it later. After the match, we have a scene worthy of the MCU where Dorian whispers something in Mini's ear. It's interesting because Dorian had managed to recruit Vikingo, Mini's brother, and Mini had even beaten Vikingo. This ending clearly fulfills its purpose and makes you want to see what happens next."

[8.0] "What a main event! For his age, Mini Vikingo has been putting on some absolute classic matches that might be considered career bests for older wrestlers, and even on the slightly stilted English commentary, you've got three guys just adoring what they're seeing in every one of his matches, with heel commentator JBL basically unable to do his job and just gushing about the kid's talent. There were a few slightly whiffed moves in here, and I feel like it was a proving match for him. Fenix was always going to win this match; his run with the belt is so good, and they won't take this off him without some build, but some of the moments in here are just incredible from both men. I can't wait to see Fenix be used by either WWE properly (not just as a AAA ambassador), and whatever Mini Vikingo does in the future, you know it's going to be amazing. ****1/4"

[5.0] "I dunno, this just felt like two guys doing a bunch of cool moves on fast forward. Mini V's bounce back ability was borderline ludicrous, while Fenix came off like he was deliberately taking a back seat **1/2"

[8.0] "****. What a match. Mini Vikingo is something else. Truly reminds me of Rey Mysterio compared to everyone else over the years. Glad to see Fenix is able to put on these matches somewhere."

[7.0] "Probably Mini Vikingo's best performance yet and he definitely rose to the occasion and looked credibly against someone as established in lucha history as Rey Fenix. Lots of gorgeous ariel offence with some particularly strong strikes from Fenix. I wish there was a bit more substance to the narrative as I think Vikingo played into the desperation way too early and it made the story of him coming close to victory a lot less impactful in my opinion but still a really good outing for the kid"

[10.0] "Man, all I can say is that easily, whether you like the kid in Mini Vikingo or not he is absolutely unbelievably incredible in that ring for how young he is and he literally is a mini version of the man who he portrays. As well you have him being put up against Rey Fenix, man you're expecting and incredible professional wrestling match at that point forward man, no matter what. Jeez man, they absolutely killed it in this main event, so happy and proud of both guys here, just absolutely spectacular from beginning to end."

[9.0] "I don't know if this is the best Mini-Vikingo match because his match with HDLV was awesome but this could be a close second, this was easily Fenix best title defense yet and both looked incredible in this match, an excellent main event"
