[7.0] "A really solid tag match between both teams with nice in ring action and psychology between everyone involved, and the final minutes of the match was very creative with Eddie's cheating antics to help himself and Rey win the tag titles."

[4.0] "Eddie's amazing character work ALMOST got me to raise this to 5 points, but the rest of the bout is so bland and boring I just can't bring myself to raise it even for him. 75% of this match is the Bashams getting heat followed by rest holds. First, they get heat on Eddie, then he tags to Rey and they get heat on him. And while the Bashams aren't the worst tag team I've ever seen, they certainly are not good. Their offense isn't anywhere near interesting enough to dominate a match like this. It is true that Rey and Eddie REALLY pick things up in the closing few minutes and try their best to pull a good outing from all of this, but the damage was done. Too much of the contest was wasted on utter nothingness. If you are a huge Eddie fan, I can recommend this one for his character work. But there is close to nothing here besides that."

[7.0] "The first half was ok but a tad boring as the Bashams didn't have much charisma or variety on offense. The ending 3 minutes were fantastic with Rey dodging the Bashams with his insane speed and hot tagging Eddie. Eddie then started cheating in his entertaining way."

[7.0] "This was very much carried by how much fun it is to watch Eddie tagging with Rey, but I thought the Bashams did a good job here as well. They were much better in this role than in their debuting role. I think under a better writer/booker, the Bashams could've been successful. All in all, a good match led by Eddie and Rey just being insanely fun."

[7.0] "Really fun match as the ever-popular Rey & Eddie capture the tag team titles. While the Bashams are not the greatest tag team, and were very bland and generic, the charisma and star power of the faces make this match entertaining."

[6.0] "So much is working against this match. The Bashams suck and do an awful control segment, but Rey and Eddie are both so good in this match that it saves it."

[6.0] "Pretty decent tag match but I was expecting more from Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio winning tag gold together. I don't blame them of course as they did try and succeed in getting some cool shit in, The Basham Brothers were charisma vacuums and gave them fuck all to work with. The best parts of the match was Eddie's unmatched character work. Eddie did his classic possum attack and belt shot but I loved the fact that he stretched out the tag rope aswell. Not the banger I hoped for but God it made me miss Eddie"

[6.0] "Bashams have grown on me since they dropped their initial idiotic gimmick and they were a pretty good heel team here. They bumped nicely for both Rey and Eddie and made their offense look so much better, which was really fun to watch. They also executed the finish pretty well and Eddie's enjoyable tactics were again on full display here."

[8.0] "Very enjoyable opener here with Eddie continuing to reinvent how to cheat in matchesas he never fails to be entertaining. Loved the spot where Eddie saw the Twin Magic spot and used it by pretending to have missed the Frog Splash. The Bashams are also very solid here and look good doing the old school heat stuff on Rey. The finish was great. Very little to complain about with this one. Just a really good feel good moment with Eddie and Rey getting the tag belts together."

[8.0] "WWE never really figured out what to do with the Bashams, but they're not a bad tag team, and this is probably their best match, a fairly excellent match with the very talented due of Eddie and Rey."
