The cherry on top is that he's garbage in ring. This was supposed to be a comedy match and I didn't laugh or even just slightly chuckle once. I was cringing to death the entire time. This was the opposite of entertainment. I know some people liked the involvement of the basketball players but I honestly didn't care for that because I'm not a basketball fan. Overall pure horseshit on my screen. For now on I'm gonna use any Danhausen match or segment as a bathroom or food break because he's unbearable to watch."

The cloning-machines storyline was painfully unfunny, the wrestling itself offered very little, and having two wrestlers humiliated by an NBA player made the finish even worse. Danhausen may sell merchandise, but this entire angle feels embarrassing and impossible to take seriously."
[5.0] "I don't know if this can be called a good match, but I'm a goofball that likes Danhausen so yeah, of course I've laughed here, the ending was hilarious with Karl Anthony Towns appearing and beating JD and Dominik, he's huge, and the fact he was cloned after a cat is fun. The rest of the match was a rollercoaster and some things were definitely not good... JD had a very long control segment, with Danhausen looking like he can't wrestle at all, but the he eventually performed a comeback and also had the help of the midgets during the match. This one flirted with the disaster, but the finish was awesome and make up for the other stuff - {**1/4}"
[7.0] "Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh was an entertaining No Disqualification Match that focused more on comedy and spectacle than serious in-ring competition. JD carried much of the traditional wrestling structure. His aggressive offense, Dominik Mysterio's interference, and repeated attempts to humiliate Danhausen gave the match a clear heel-versus-underdog dynamic. Danhausen's comeback was simple but effective because the Madison Square Garden crowd was fully invested in him. The match became increasingly absurd when the Minihausens appeared, followed by Karl-Anthony Towns emerging from Danhausen's "clone machine." Towns chokeslamming both JD and Dominik produced an enormous reaction and created the most memorable moment of the match. Danhausen then capitalized with the Danhausen Death Drop to secure the victory. The interference-heavy finish meant Danhausen did not defeat JD through his own ability alone. However, that was acceptable within this particular match because the entire rivalry had been built around curses, comedy, and outside involvement. JD also remained somewhat protected after taking significant punishment from a celebrity before the finish. The main weakness was the actual wrestling quality. Several sequences looked basic, and the extended comedy section disrupted the match's flow. Anyone expecting a violent or technically strong No Disqualification Match would probably be disappointed. Overall, this was not great wrestling, but it was successful sports entertainment. The crowd loved the chaos, JD played his role well, and Danhausen received a memorable victory perfectly suited to his character. Rating: 7/10"

[5.0] "If you're expecting a workrate classic from Donavan Danhausen, then you're going to end up disappointed. But as a comedy match? Like the Backlash match, it actually wasn't bad. That said, my criticisms of the Backlash match, including with regards to overegging the pudding, still apply to some extent here."

A possibility, and I know nothing about basketball, but I would imagine seeing this as a New Yorker, would be pretty exciting. I do hope they are able to improve with blending comedy with good wrestling in the future (I actually think Danhausen's Backlash match is exactly the right mix). I hope this leads to a SummerSlam match with Danhausen and Dom."

JD on the other hand is a star yet WWE holds him down because of his size likely. He is among the best WWE has in the ring. Then the 2nd half of the match happened. I'm only going to say this... If celebrities and midgets is the direction WWE is going to go... cool... but you're effectively admitting wrestling isn't the most important part of a wrestling show. We've known that for a long time with WWE but this kind of stuff is coming out and telling you... The 2 points are for JD... he worked hard only for HHH to bury The Judgement Day with a clown and a pro basketball player."

However, when the bullshit started happening, that's when it started to became the match I expected to see throughout the whole fucking thing. The little Danhausen's, the cloning machine, and that Knicks player showing up. This also didn't even feel like a No DQ match, like at all. Just a massive waste of time. JD deserved better than this crap. I don't hate Danhausen, I think he's funny, but lately, some stuff he's done have been annoying and just extremely unfunny."

I get Danhausen was a big part of the Knicks championship win, but this match wasn't good. The great part was seeing Karl Anthony Towns, and also seeing how JD McDonagh in this spot shined, as he dominated and was doing some great things, but I wasn't a fan of this match whatsoever."
[2.0] "I'm tired of Danhausen matches. He's a fun character when he's in backstage segments, keep him there. There was no reason for this match to go over 11 minutes. Most of it was JD and Dom beating up Danhausen while getting heat with the crowd by mistreating the Knicks jersey because they're in NYC. Truly riveting stuff. Then out come the midgets, that's really played out. Danhausen goes up on stage and puts a cat in his cloning box, and if you're even vaguely familiar with the NBA it should have been no surprise at all when out comes Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns, i.e. KAT. To his credit, he hit some good looking chokeslams that Dom and JD made sure to go up high for. Danhausen wins. This was harmless, but it was also bad. 2/10"

Again this match was only half watchable because of JD's performance."

I know that he's popular with certain people, and apparently he sells loads of merch, but I HATED this. Not now and not with me. Give me a proper match. Not alleged celebrities and American sports performers doing badly produced comedy matches."

Not a huge fan of a basketball guy bodying both JD and recent IC Champ, current AAA Mega Champ Dominik Mysterio."
[3.0] "Just as I'm about to come to terms with Danhausen's presence--since the match does have some entertainment value from a purely athletic standpoint--the Minihausens enter the fray, and a halfway decent match devolves into a slapstick show. When even CAT pops out of the cloning box, it gets so silly it's straight out of a Mel Brooks movie. I'll give the first half of the match a five, and the rest just one point. That makes three, right?"

Dom and JD disrespecting the Knicks jersey at MSG is the easiest heat one can get, and it works. The Minihausens coming in is whatever, but Karl-Anthony Towns coming to the rescue is awesome! The man delivers two picture-perfect Chokeslam and gets Danhausen the dub. ***1/4"

JD and Danhausen had good chemistry and thought the in ring action was solid. Forgot it was a No DQ match for the first half. Fun antics with the minihausens and KAT's involvement (kind of thought this would be Takahashi's debut). Overall I was entertained as was the live crowd which was the point of the match"
