Ryback wasnt in his top form, and kevin didnt really did much than submission holds, which it unusual. The rollup at the end gave the win to owens, but it was one silly way of ending the match."
[5.0] "OK match. Big moment for Kevin Owens. Ryback had been a fine if forgettable champion. Owens would do much better with the belt and he had a memorable feud with Dean Ambrose at the end of 2015/beginning of 2016."
[6.0] "*** - Kevin Owens first Title win in WWE. Not a horrible match. Slow going. Never really picked up but the last few minutes were OK to watch. Heel tactic to win even though everybody is very behind Owens"
[5.0] "Owens manages to perform some interesting movers, but the match still fails to reach sufficiency, also due to the short duration of the match and the too hasty ending."
[5.0] "This was a solid match with Owens working over the arm all match long, which played into the finish with Ryback being unable to lift him up to hit Shellshock. They didn't have a lot of great nearfalls, but there were a few decent moments. Solid stuff **1/2"
