[6.0] "Another one of those Irie matches where action is good, crowd is into the match, but something is just not there, something's missing. As a match in a vacuum/popcorn entertainment I enjoyed it, but expectations from a title match naturally a little bit higher."

[9.0] "This was awesome. 15 minutes of some great wrestling. Little downtime, straight to the point. Never a dull moment. Irie is great on the defence. I love how most of his counters consists of him just slamming his body into someone, like his pounce counter early in the match, or him throwing Ishii to the floor. Ishii had some great run off offence. He had some of the best spinning double heel kicks I've seen. This had a pretty awesome finishing stretch as well. ****1/4"
