Kenny Omega vs. Shigehiro Irie

[7.0] "Omega's performance was excellent in this match, but it was good to a fault because Irie just didn't came across as someone who's on Omega's level, let alone as someone who should beat him, but the finish kind of played into that idea."

[8.0] "A fun match. Loved Omega on top here. Great power based offence, although it didn't make great use of Irie's size. Irie was really good as the underdog in the biggest moment of his life at this point. Good match. ***3/4"

[8.0] "Almost a year since their first encounter, this match is also for gold. That gold being the top prize in KOD. This was Irie's big moment as he had to overcome Kenny's strategy of targeting his leg by using his own power offense including some disgusting headbutts."
