108.08.2025mitaalex0.0This match should've never happened. Two legends reduced to a slow-motion trainwreck in the desert. Goldberg knocks himself out, Taker almost gets spiked on his head, and the whole thing is one giant embarrassment. It's not even funny... it's sad. Poor Taker deserved so much better than this. No drama, no atmosphere, just a brutal reminder of when to stop. This wasn't a match, it was a career lowlight.

2313.05.2025Aj190.0Quite possibly the worst match I've ever seen over 5 minutes. Seriously what was the WWE executive team thinking when they scheduled this match? My god watching it gives me chills but for the wrong reasons: botch after botch, the inadequacy of the two, the stupidity of a match like this. Please, WWE, never do something like this again.

3008.04.2025asdustdances0.0Bad match that happened way too late in both wrestlers' careers. An absolute botch fest, and a match that's become famous for all the wrong reasons.

3402.04.2025qweave1.0in 1999, Heroes of Wrestling died. in 2019, Heroes of Wrestling was reborn - welcome back. two guys past their prime slowly and embarrassingly going at it and pretending they live 10 years in the past. i didn't like goldberg before he was 50 and i don't like him when he's 50 and this is like an extreme dilution of why, he's just so miserably sloppy and limited and in the retirement home death rattle conditions this match was held he's bare-ass naked and succeeds only at hurting himself and others. thank you, Saudi Arabia, for this gift.

3910.03.2025oDeadmanx0.0Taker wasn't physically able to wrestle and the other one never could actually wrestle. That's what the result was. Glad they didn't kill each other in the ring, even when Goldberg was very close to send the Taker into a wheelchair or worse.

4311.02.2025Keithnelson180.0How? How did Vince this would be a good idea? This would've been good in the 2000s, when both were able to wrestle, but no, Vince waited till both were in their mid 50s and ready to retire. Also, UnderTaker almost broke his neck and Goldberg wasn't even able to function after busting his head open. This match fell apart before it even started.
4428.01.2025JohnAbbaRiley4.0Listen I can understand people being opposed to this match but it kinda rules in a weird and twisted way. The literal first 15 seconds of the match was off to a good sign, showing signs of Goldberg's 2016/2017 return. The match turns south obviously when Goldberg spears himself into the post and starts pouring blood. This match ruled in a sense of two old wrestlers thinking they can still do everything they can and just kinda making it real with how everything bumps. Is it the most ideal match, no and it may have been great in their primes but this was in its own way. **

5201.12.2024Willie 192000.0This is honestly the worst match I've ever seen. These two old men should not be facing each other in 2019 let alone 10 years prior. Goldberg is just garbage and almost permanently crippled Undertaker. Overall this match made me disappointed in Pro-Wrestling and made me realize how much an alternative was needed and how lucky we are now.

6624.09.2024nicksalrightman3.0idgaf that brainbuster was beast. hashimoto smiling down on goldberg. What an awful, but funny bad match. I have no clue if goldberg bleeding was a blade job or if it was from the impact on the corner post. I know he got concussed during that spot though.
6720.09.2024JoeyBingBong4.0An infamous match, I've always found this one's reputation to be a bit overstated. It's unique, certainly, but even this match's most embarrassing misses come with a genuine sense of spectacle. That's particularly the case late, as this admittedly implodes following Goldberg's shoot brainbuster. Initially though, they get off to a pretty encouraging start, relatively speaking. Goldberg's opening spears set the stage for a clash of the titans style sprint and the people are with that, but a concussion soon after stops them in their tracks. From there, it's really a case of Taker buying Goldberg time, mostly doing so without incident until Goldberg's aforementioned retort. Ironically, if Goldberg doesn't kick out of the tombstone, this would be a virtual trivia question, I'd imagine. I don't see much worth remembering to that point, yet Goldberg not only kicks out but turns the match into a life and death shootout. Fascinating piece of business, a truly memorable old man match. **

7203.09.2024njs0085 I am only rating matches on this site that I would give a 6/10 or higher, so I will not leave a number. I just want to say that this match was really bad and I actually feared for the safety of both wrestlers while watching. That is rare, since I have been watching since the 80s. Thankfully, this era of Goldberg kept most of the matches short.

7402.09.2024lukasmgc6.0Eh it wasn't that bad. Keep in mind I'm never too over critical of my wrestling unless it's blatantly terrible. This was a match but it wasn't like a bad match. The in ring stuff was a okay. The botches were eh. I didn't personally see anything wrong with this one but as I said, I try to have a positive outlook on matches unless something is truly abysmal. Maybe it's because I had low expectations already but it was okay. It was like watching two drunk hillbilly's fight each other and one of them can't even fight properly. It was a hilarious car crash until Taker got dropped on his head. That's one thing Goldberg did here I guess...made a brain buster actually deadly. The crowd was kinda into it but wasn't at the same time. Like when the botches picked up they hated it. Again, it isn't that bad because of how short it is but it is utterly painful to watch in the last two minutes due to the botched Jackhammer. They should've stopped the match because you can tell Goldbergs concussion was bad but this is Vince so "the show must go on pal."

7629.08.2024uselessdollthing1.0This match is actually kind of entertaining due to how old, slow and awful these two are at this point. It's short as well so I think this saves it from being a zero out of pure enjoyment at how horrible it is.
7711.08.2024LemonTwinkie0.0One of the most painful wrestling matches I've ever watched, and not in the hard-hitting, strong style type of painful with impactful strikes and brutal sequences, but in the Randy the Ram-esque fear that one of these dudes (particularly Goldberg) was going to drop dead in the middle of the ring. Goldberg bloodied himself barely a minute into the match while simultaneously concussing himself on the ring post. Goldberg is disoriented the instant this happens, and it is a testament to either the referee's and ringside doctors' incompetence or the lack of care for worker safety that this match was allowed to continue. Almost every move performed by both men is awkward at best and horribly botched at worst, culminating in one of the poorest finishes to a match of all time where Goldberg almost levels the mental playing field by collapsing halfway through a jackhammer and dropping Undertaker directly on his head and upper shoulders. Immediately following this is Goldberg attempting to hit a tombstone on Taker (which if Goldberg had any idea what was going on I'd hope he'd have the wherewithal to realize this wasn't going to happen either), and both fall pathetically to the floor in a heap. This leads to what is likely an audible from Undertaker where he delivers maybe the worst chokeslam of his career where Goldberg barely gets halfway to Taker's waist on his jump. Absolutely dreadful, and Taker maintained an expression of "well that fucking sucked" throughout the entire thing. I remember once finding some ironic enjoyment in the match but rewatches have reminded me how much of a black eye on wrestling history the Goldberg WWE return was. ZERO!

8106.08.2024brooksavage20040.0This could've been amazing if it happened both men actual at their prime and not on a trash Saudi Arabia show in the the late 2010s. Everything in this match is abysmally terrible, they both get battered and hurt and there was so many unsafe botches, an all time worst wrestling main event ever.

8431.07.2024onionknight1.0Honestly just felt sad watching this. All these 2 legends had to do was go out and deliver a basic 2-3 star match, instead they seemed barely to be able to perform any of their moves. It would've been an awesome spectacle to see them wrestle a genuine match, no matter how basic, but instead we got a disaster class. Of course it's hard to blame them, 2 concussions to goldberg and an old undertaker, recipe for disaster, but you hope they make it work. I honestly respect them going out and trying as hard as they could, the look on the undertakers face after one of the weakest chokeslams I've seen finishing the match was just sad and tells the story

8627.07.2024meltzersucks0.0Sounds like a dream match, unfortunately were about 15 years too late. What can I say about this match that hasnt already been said? Goldberg immediately gets a concussion and the two men execute a couple minutes of the sloppiest in-ring work you can imagine, Undertaker does a tombstone and Goldberg lands hard on his head and KICKS OUT, Goldberg tries a jackhammer but fails and Taker lands on his neck, kicks out, Taker wins with the worst chokeslam of all time. blegh. poor taker. slightly less poor goldberg.

9826.05.2024PhillyHarden4.0This match is actually not that bad before Goldberg posts himself. The intro sequence is ok, but Goldberg slamming his head into his door before the match and then immediately posting himself destroyed any chance that this couldve been decent. And then it gets worse after Taker spikes him with the Tombstone. The kneebar looks awkward at first but its not the worst moment here. Goldberg hits a brain buster, they screw up the tombstone reversal, Taker hits a horrible chokeslam and Goldberg hooks his own leg. Bad. Couldve been worse.
