Everything lacks urgency, and the moves themselves look awful mechanically. Wyatt is not better. He gets but a couple of moves in, but that's not the worst of it. His character work is so over the top. He comes across as way more meandering than intimidating. I am amazed that the match only goes 6 minutes; it seems much longer when watching it."
[0.0] "This was just a complete bore of a match with such awful action and psychology between both men, Bray's performances was just bad, Miz was not a great babyface at all, the only memorable thing about this was the return of Bryan and that doesn't happen until this stinker is finally over with."
[1.0] "i dont remember bot liking this as much as i do now. The night of the match was horrible but this 2nd time im watching it it is impossible to even watch and pay attention it is so boring. Theres a hint of story there but none of it is good. And then the post match segment is horrible as well until bryan shows up. 0.50 stars"
[0.0] "This is a DUD in every sense of the word, The Miz is a terrible babyface, Bray Wyatt barely gets any offense until towards the end and then hits his finisher and the match is over. Only memorable moment was when Bryan revealed he went back to his old 2012 hair and beard combo."
[0.0] "Awful match and another sign that Bray Wyatt was lost in WWE despite being champion. The feud was trash, the match was trash and the only benefit was that it ended Miz's babyface run and brought him back to being a heel."
[4.0] "I agree it wasn't a good wrestling match, but that doesn't mean it was a terrible show. The Miz presented as an offensive, courageous side, fighting not only in its own interest, was something fresh and pleasant. More problems than on Miz's side I see here on Wyatt's side, there was not enough offensive on his side and there were no moments where the match was even. The ending was also bland, the finisher immediately after entering the ring, without any emotions, attempts to counter or anything."
[3.0] "Rather interesting for Bray Wyatt not to come in his alter ego for a championship match but nonetheless it was quite interesting. The match was very short and was used more for promoting the character of Wyatt than it was as a championship match. *1/2"
[1.0] "Honestly, what was this? The Miz has always been great as a heel, but here, they decide to build sympathy for him by portraying him as a man trying to protect his family from a crazed psychopath. There's nothing wrong with that but the simple fact of the matter is, Miz can't act even if his life depended on it. Bray doesn't come out as the Fiend because they had to do the angle with Daniel Bryan and they can't make him look weak. Miz on the other hand, comes out as if he's about to wrestle a normal match, doing his usual showboat entrance as if the man he's facing didn't threaten his family. He does bring a bit of intensity in the ring but it all gets trampled after two moves. Terrible."
[3.0] "Mister Rogers Bray Wyatt - all the worst parts of The Fiend (most of the gimmick), without the parts that make it work (the entrance)! The only good thing this match does is be forgettable enough that you won't remember it exists and be tempted to give it a second chance."
[4.0] "Apparently I had too many expectations about this match but I didn't like it at all. But I can't put the lowest mark because of the excellent roleplaying of Bray's character, therefore 4 points"
[1.0] "Another lame Universal Championship match and another disappointing Wyatt match. This was more of an angle than a match. Wyatt played the charismatic psychopath and Miz brought some intensity but this was just nothing. It's a 6 minute match where Miz hits Wyatt with all his offense and then loses to 2 moves. The feud was silly and so was this match. *"
[6.0] "Bray was beautiful in the form of a psychopathic fool who would gut an opponent at any second. In addition, the very serious Miz impresses in the ring. They managed to convey the tense atmosphere of the plot to the ring."
[6.0] "I am thinking that a six is maybe too high. I might change my rating after a rewatch. I dont know why this happened. The feud was quite underwhelming and I could say the same about its culmination in the form of this match. Meh. The only reason I am not rating this lower right now is because I really liked the character work of funhouse Bray, his mannerisms and facial expressions. Also I liked the fact that he got a dominant win while not being in the form of the Fiend."
[7.0] "The character work put into this match was brilliant. Wyatt appeared as himself and seemed reluctant to attack the miz. Throughout the match, Wyatt was laughing while Miz continued with his offense. Great surprise post match."
