Daisuke Sekimoto vs. Xyon

[5.0] "As one of the Russian commentators of the tournament stated Xyon is the guy who goes through moves because we haven't learned how to build a story through these moves yet and I completely agree. Sekimoto and Xyon went through moves, Xyon missed his diving headbutt and Sekimoto immediately capitalised on that."

[4.0] "Two of the most "Eh" match guys in the tournament redefined what a midcard match that came and went and failed to engage could be. Also why is XYON working face?"

[4.0] "Very sleepy match, it's not like anyone did anything badly but they did do it all slowly; Xyon did not provide much intesnity, Sekimoto didn't do anything particularly cool as the match didn't ask him to go hard, it was just there."

[4.0] "The only thing positive about this match is that Sekimoto gets the win. Other that, it's pretty flat and boring. Sekimoto is an all-time great but he's obviously declined a lot especially after his horrific injury this year, and Xyon isn't equipped to do anything interesting or dynamic."

[4.0] "We're basically getting the same match structure again for Xyon... and honestly, his offense just feels like it has almost no intensity. It's kind of rough to watch. You can tell he's trying, but when it doesn't click, it just doesn't click. At least Sekimoto gets the win, and that's definitely something I'm happy about."

[5.0] "This was another Xyon match that felt like it went a little too long (because his control segment wasn't getting that many reactions), but in the end Sekimoto capitalized on Xyon's mistake and just won. Simple, decent tournament match. **3/4"
