Hechicero vs. Jonathan Gresham

[9.0] "This was a great technical wrestling matchup man, first ever contest between Gresham and Hechicero, they stool the show for having one of the best matches of this entire ppv that was during the mania weekend for all the wrestlers in the world, they did so well, amazing contest."

[10.0] "First ever time these guys went one on one and they went absolutely wild and delivered one of the best matches of the entire card of this multiverse ppv of maple leaf pro wrestling, this was a massive technical masterpiece matchup and was a very entertaining pro wrestling match, this was perfection man."

[10.0] "Straight up, these guys might've honestly stolen the entire show with this matchup here, with both men here having a incredible showing back-and-forth, some of the best tentacle wrestling you can see with a Octopus versus a Luchador with their styles of tentacle wrestling is pretty impressive, to see two different styles from two different countries in the world, representing each other in a fantastic bout, which I think deserves more of a appraisement than it did, but, we all have are feel and respect in our ways, loved all this match had man, can't lie, love to see a rematch somewhere maybe again, first time ever match by the way, absolutely nuts."

[8.0] "This match is fucking awesome, a lot sillier then you'd expect out of a big gresham match but its SOOOO much better off for it. An absolute must watch if you enjoy either man A+"

[7.0] "It didn't fully reach that level I expected but it was still a really solid watch. Gresham carried a clear story through his work and that helped a lot. It felt like it had another gear it never really hit, which is a bit frustrating considering who's involved but at the same time it never dipped into anything bad. Good match, just not the classic it could have been."

[7.0] "I liked this match. The first half was more of a comedy bout, where Gresham did some hilarious heel work. Things heated up and then we got some really good grappling. Hechicero ended up rolling up Gresham for the win."

[6.0] "Not sure who the heel was. Felt like they tried to make a DCF member be the face for the match... weird choice. The match spent a lot of time pushing this concept too (the shoes, the stuck hold, arguing with fans, etc.) I expected a technical masterpiece between these two, and it was a letdown. Not to say it was a bad match, impossible from these two, but i didn't love it like i had expected to. The vibe of this match was akin to indie wrestling, when the show had presented more of a small promotion pay-per-view. Hope to see these two get an opportunity to purely wrestle at some point (kind of like what happened when Hechicero got the upper hand half way through)."

[6.0] "Don't get me wrong, it's a good match, but I expected more from these two performers. Plus that rushed finish... Overall, a very mixed impression. I think I liked it, but there's still a feeling that something was off."

[7.0] "This was very solid but didn't really hit the heights that a lot of people would expect from these two."

[7.0] "Between Gresham's going full heel, the communication being a bit off at times, ant the finish feeling flat... This didn't end up being a 5-star classic, but a very fluid Llave-style bout nontheless."

[7.0] "It wasn't the technical masterpiece I expected from two of the best in the business, but it was a pretty well-rounded match that I felt was divided into two parts: a more entertaining first half highlighted by some great heat from Gresham, followed by a second half with more serious and dynamic action. The last five minutes of this match were excellent. I want to see even more from them."
