[6.0] "Although there were a few good moments, there were also plenty of sloppy moments too, unfortunately, Toa Leona was to blame for two of them. A lot of interferences and didn't really live up to the pre-match hype. I'm glad Ricochet won, but how far can you push a guy who seems to have a constant beef with the internet."

[5.0] "***1/4 A standard match. It could have been good, but they dragged it out, making the match boring and tiring. The chemistry was interesting; they worked, but the Gates of Agony constantly interfered and executed poorly. There were some interesting sequences, but the intensity was simple and unremarkable. The pacing was basic, going from bad to not so bad, but they never really picked up the pace enough. For almost 20 minutes, it was tedious and tiring to watch. They could have cut at least 5 minutes, and it would have been much better. The ending was standard; Ricochet finished Jericho with the Spirit Gun and a Lionsault"

MondoVision wrote on 17.04.2026:
[6.0] "Yeah, this wasn't very good. Jericho looked S-L-O-W and Ricochet had no option but to dial his own tempo down to make it look halfway respectable. It went WAY too long and it's pace was painfully stop-and-go. The shooting star press into a Codebreaker would've been the perfect place for this match to end, but since it's AEW, of course it has to keep dragging on ad infinitum. Then we get all of the outside interference stuff, then we get Ricochet getting the dub with Jericho's own finisher. To give you an idea of how much I enjoyed this match, it officially made me nope out of "Dynasty" just two matches in."

[6.0] "[3.0*] - It's 2026 and I couldn't believe I'd be saying that Chris Jericho was having a good match. A little longer than necessary, but it's fun. Jericho's selling on the arm was well done, and Ricochet was excellent; both he and Demand had a good heel work, with cool interferences, drawing the crowd in Jericho's favor. The ending was nice to continue the feud with Ricochet applying a Lionsault. I hope that in their next match they can have less time; maybe it will be a better match. The spot of Jericho counting a Shooting Star Press with a Codebreaker was awesome!"

[6.0] "Definitely a better match than what I was expecting from the return of Chris Jericho. Likely much of that can be attributed to Ricochet's ability to carry a match. Jericho actually looks in significantly better shape than he did towards the end of his run before hiatus. The coolest spot here was the Shooting Star Press caught into the Codebreaker which was pulled off very well for such a complicated spot. Gates of Agony get involved with Jericho and Ricochet connects with a Shooting Star press for a near fall. Spirit Gun by Ricochet gets the win on Jericho. Rating: ***"

Jericho one year ago lost at Dynasty and he crashout on Dynamite and now he lost again on Dynasty so i'm very interested in what he can do now."
LuminousPink wrote on 15.04.2026:
[6.0] "Listen, this match had a lot of cool moments. That shooting star press into the codebreaker was cool and I liked the finish. However, this match was just waayy too long for what Jericho can do at this stage in his career. I hope people realise that from this match and Jericho isn't put in these nearly 20-minute-long matches every PPV from now on"
ReiEscobar wrote on 15.04.2026:
[6.0] "That match worked, don't get tripped by the rating. An Ricochet, that fights basically each week when he can, does not need so many help to beat an old rusted washed version of Chris Jericho. Excuse me, washed? I don't know man, we need to discuss. Clearly Ricochet needed to slow himself down to let Jericho wrestle in the way he wanted, but man, he looks SOOO much better. That Codebreaker countering the Shooting Star Press was soo smooth, beauty, well applied. AEW can do something good with Jericho. Really, they can."

Richochet was also very entertaining in this match to me in the first time in so long. I just haven't been enjoying his work but this time around his match also made alot of sense in terms of the spots and the movements behind them. Definitely a credit to Jericho. Didn't enjoy the involvement of the rest of the demand as it just kinda wore the match down and I did like the finish being a lion tammer. (***1/2)"

[8.0] "I rated it an 8.0, The trio known as The Demand, Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona walked into a lukewarm reception, but the second Chris Jericho hit the stage, the building flipped into full karaoke mode for Judas, a standing ovation, and fans screaming "You Still Got It" like their lives depended on it. The crowd stayed on Ricochet all match long, clowning him with "You're Still Bald" chants and booing every cheap advantage, especially when Kaun and Liona kept sticking their noses where they didn't belong. Jericho rode that crowd energy early, popping them huge with a Lionsault and multiple Codebreaker counters including one that shut down a 450-splash mid-flight but Ricochet weathered the storm and turned things nasty. My favorite moment came when Ricochet spiked Jericho with a Death Valley Driver on the apron, shifting momentum hard as he began targeting the arms and stacking offense with a nasty Northern Lights suplex into a brainbuster into Vertigo in one continuous sequence. Even with Jericho refusing to stay down after all that punishment, Ricochet sealed it by blasting him with the Spirit Gun and, in a little extra disrespect, finishing things off with Jericho's own Lionsault to secure the win."
AdamW wrote on 15.04.2026:
[8.0] "I was very pleasantly surprised by this match and thought Ricochet was a fantastic first opponent back for Chris Jericho. He's a total heat magnet and genuinely one of the best wrestlers in the world, so if anyone's gonna get a really good match from Chris Jericho, it's him. Jericho looks in way better shape this time around, and his over a year off was a good idea, as he was starting to become stale. The match was a really good back-and-forth, and to me, the crowd in Jericho's home country of Canada was molten hot throughout, which really added points to me."
CashGrabWrestling wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "Actually not a bad match, but god this went too long. Jericho actually did pretty ok in this match. He was able to hit his Lionsault, the Avalanche Frankensteiner, a couple of Codebreakers, the works. I was surprised when Ricochet got the win over Jericho. Overall, ok match, went too long."
robbyplaha wrote on 14.04.2026:
[7.0] "Ricochet did his best to give Jericho a good match, and he did just that. Fathertime has come to Chris Jericho's door, because there were moments in this match he was moving clunky, then he hits a mid-air Codebreaker to Ricochet, then everyone likes how? Ricochet getting the win over Chris Jericho actually shocked me because I never expected Chris Jericho to lose this match. I thought some dirty tactics were going to play for Chris Jericho, trying desperately to win. But in the end, Ricochet got the win, which is the right call because Chris Jericho isn't in his prime, and now his way to retire in the future, so this was a good win for Ricochet, but knowing the Jericho vortex, he'll eventually get his win back unless things have changed with how he gets booked."

"I don't understand why they only gave this match 20 minutes. It felt endless, boring, and slow. It was a forgettable and very basic match, which is understandable given Jericho's age. Also, I'm glad Ricochet won, but what will happen to Jericho afterward?"
Ouphenos wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "Decent enough. I'm not invested in Jericho and I still think that he sould have gone to WWE and have a final run there. With that said, I can appreciate the performance he tried to put on this match. He nailed some great spots, but you can tell the is still rusty when he has to do some sequences. Ricochet tried his best to help Jericho too. Overall, a very okay match, which I can appreciate considering how abysmal Jericho's performances were some months ago."
DENDY wrote on 14.04.2026:
[4.0] "I have never been the biggest Jericho fan, especially in his AEW run, nothing he did here really dissuaded me of that feeling. This was definitely a better match than I expected, but I still would not call it a good one, Ricochet really carried this to something almost average but the crowd seemed less interested than I expected and Jericho seems slower and less agile than ever. If you enjoy watching Jericho slowly plod around the ring, shouting meaningless platitudes while his opponent sells his ass off to make Jericho look good then this might be the match for you, otherwise I cannot help but see this as sub-par AEW PPV fare stretched across almost 20 minutes. Ricochet gets the win following plenty of interference and a Lionsault, not a particularly enjoyable watch in my eyes."
Eytexi wrote on 14.04.2026:
[7.0] "I was pleasantly surprised by Jericho's in-ring performance given his most recent AEW run fell so flat, and the long run time served to make this feel like a genuinely big match. The Shooting Star Press into the Codebreaker was a thing of absolute beauty, and the result brings so much more intrigue around both individuals than had it gone as expected. I'm seriously impressed by what these two and the booking managed to achieve given that I expected so little."
EmoForkliftDriver wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "All things considered I think this match was still pretty good. Jericho (No Chris) seems to be under the impression he can still go like he used which he clearly can not. I just wish he'd adapt to a more smash mouth style because when he hits hard and his timing is right, he's pretty good at disguising his limitations but when his Lionsault looks more like a Litasault then things get scary. The weight of the match is on Ricochet's shoulders and I think that's exactly why he was chosen as Jericho's comeback match as the guy could a match of similar quality with a plastic bag. Ricochet hits all his beautiful moves and sells like a boss when he needs to and credit where it's due Jericho is there when he's needed also. A comedy of errors on the outside though as Toa Liona was straight up embarrassing here. At one point he forgets to grab Jericho's arm while the ref is distracted to Jericho has to wave him in which thankfully Excalibur covers for on commentary. Then we have Liona somehow jogging at full speed into the barricade after Jericho side steps him. Somehow the worst guy in the match wasn't even in the match. I don't know if this makes me want to see more of Jericho in 2026 but at least he had a better comeback that Eddie Kingston"

[7.0] "Can Jericho still do what he used to do? Yes, yes he can. As long as he has the exceptionally talented Ricochet as an opponent, and as long as he has a hometown audience willing to cheer his every action. I'm not sold on Jericho being back in AEW taking time from other younger and better wrestlers. I'm not sold on Jericho deserving this kind of PPV spot outside of his hometown. But, in this moment, in this match, against Ricochet, it was fine."

[3.0] "Terrible match. The codebreaker was great, can't take anything away there. Jericho matches are too slow and boring, and the whole putting his hair on Ricochet's hair was overdone and lame. The finish came out of nowhere and felt lackluster, but atleast Ricochet won."
FelipeTalksGraps wrote on 14.04.2026:
[7.0] "[3.25*] Man, I can't believe I'm saying this, but this shit was great. Very well booked, crowd being incredibly hot also helped a lot, Jericho did his stuff well and Ricochet was an exceptional chicken heel. The Demand's interferences were helpful and Chris' selling of the arm wasn't bad too. Maybe it went a little bit too long but it was super well worked. I fell for at least 2 major nearfalls and the finish absolutely fucking rocked, with Rico beating Jericho with his own move, the Lionsault. Good storytelling and very well written match."
NoelBees wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "I came away with a few conclusions with this match, firstly, Chris Jericho should probably just never turn heel again. His time has passed to be a truly great worker and I think he can find a great utility somewhere in the middle or upper card. Another conclusion is that I really do not need to see him on a main card of a PPV without a big purpose ever again, he cannot keep up with the pace AEW has and that's okay he's ancient. However, I was vindicated in thinking that this match would be alright, and it was. The correct person went over and Jericho seems to be able to bump around which is a great positive."
wrathlander wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "It is what it is, honestly. Jericho's return had the exact effect AEW wanted in popping the Vancouver crowd, he's not as washed as expected, and Ricochet was able to get some good spots out of him. I'm also glad that he put Ricochet over. This match reached the ceiling that it could possibly reach."
bigdaddyc369 wrote on 14.04.2026:

DyingOfTheLight wrote on 14.04.2026:
[2.0] "Whoever decided a past his prime Chris Jericho needed to go 20 minutes in a heatless PPV match with Ricochet should be removed from their role. Add in that Ricochet needed absurd amounts of help to get to the win over Jericho and you get a baffling match that would have been better served on Zero Hour. Time away did not help Jericho."
Mr Bungle wrote on 14.04.2026:
[8.0] "Probably Jericho's best match since the bout against Ospreay at All In 2023. He looks to be in better shape than his last run, and was very good at getting the crowd into it. The Shooting Star Press into the Codebreaker spot was a thing of beauty and honestly one of the better spots of the entire PPV. My only nitpick is that the match went too long at almost 20 minutes, and it appears Jericho still hasn't learned his limitations the way Sting did during his final run. If this were a quicker 12-minute match, I think the reactions would be more favorable, but stretching it to 19-minutes is going to ruffle some feathers. Fortunately, Ricochet was a good enough wrestler to make it work, but I can't see this run going too well if every Jericho match in the future is this long."
GoldLiger wrote on 14.04.2026:
[6.0] "Jericho playing the hits after a year off to a hot Canadian crowd before a heel takes him out sounds like a great idea on paper, but they went TWENTY MINUTES. Even Ricochet & GOA playing good heels throughout and probably the best finish they could've done couldn't completely salvage that they gave 2026 Jericho TWENTY MINUTES for a singles. **3/4"

jaletta wrote on 13.04.2026:
[8.0] "You know what? Fair play, Jericho. He got the crowd absolutely steaming for this one, and rightly so. He moved like a man on a mission, double the Jericho we got at the back end of his last run. Some great selling from Ricochet before a surprising loss for Chris."
AlexClark314 wrote on 13.04.2026:
[7.0] "You know what fair enough man this wasn't horrendous like i thought it would be and Jericho looked pretty decent compared to what i thought he would. Although they could of shaved 5 minutes of this match and i would of enjoyed it a hell of a lot more. Ricochet had a good heel performance here with lots of cool moves throughout the match and some nice heel work to allow GOA to get involved to screw with Jericho. Maybe a bit too often but oh well. I thought Jericho was pretty decent and he had the crowd in the palm of his hand man. The lionsault and the Codebreaker counter to the shooting star were both actually really good. The finish was a bit drawn out with Jericho maybe kicking out one to many times for my liking. But then Ricochet hitting the vertigo and sprit gun then rubbing salt into the wounds winning with the lionsault was really good man. Overall a pretty solid match for Jericho to return with instantly better than almost all of the matches from his last run which was good. (***1/2)"

[3.0] "Chris fucking Jericho man. I did think this match was actually quite entertaining at points in the same way that watching a bad movie is. I got a few laughs out of the bad strike exchanges and Jericho trying and failing to act like he can still work these matches when he very obviously can't. But dont get me wrong, this was a bad match. Went on for what felt like an hour and tried way to hard to be an epic despite the fact that this match has had literally maybe two weeks of build. Ricochet wins so i suppose this feud is continuing. Great. I simply cannot wait. *1/2"
Ozwern wrote on 13.04.2026:
[8.0] "As someone who hated Jericho's run for the past 3 years, this was really good honestly. I feel like he had some good matches in the past few years but no one would admit to it due to the constant bs surrounding him. He came back after a year and there's a fresh feeling for what he's doing and this match really showcased that. Some of the stuff he's doing at 55 is really impressive. Ricochet has very little credibility in terms of having actual meaningful victories over other top talent so I feel like this was good for him as well. Good match."
Connorstubbs12 wrote on 13.04.2026:
[3.0] "Very poor match here. Jericho doesn't have it in 2026 and we need to stop pretending he does. In addition with ricochet he's not as good as he used to be and I really don't like his work as a hill in 2026. They didn't click at all and at times it was really clunky and it had no real big meaning to the card. But it could be a good storyline of Jericho failing to win a match up until his eventual retirement maybe. But that is not the direction they're going to go in. Something come out of this"
GM56 Champion wrote on 13.04.2026:
[6.0] "The match itself wasn't too good and wasn't too bad either. I don't blame them for having a so-so match, Jericho is 55 and wrestled for the first time in a year. In addition, Chris was having fun, but didn't seem too focused on working a spectacular contest. Surprised Jericho lost though (why is he simply Jericho now btw? )"
Flambo wrote on 13.04.2026:
[6.0] "Jericho is still able to move super well despite his age, I certainly was concerned about ring rust, age, etc., but that was dashed pretty quickly. Ricochet was a pretty great dance partner for him, I wouldn't be surprised if they ran it back in a 6-man down the line. Main complaint here is that this ran pretty long, but otherwise a not too bad match. This is how you book Jericho, having some fun in the tail end of a long and illustrious career, right outcome in the end as well."

[7.0] "I've really enjoyed this match, and what a return for Jericho... I'm not even a huge fan of Chris, far from it, but his delivery here was great and most importantly, the crowd was very active during the match, and buying everything they were doing. The bout took a while to definitively start, Jericho was having a moment and that made everything feel big. Ricochet is the type of chicken heel you want in matches like this, and his heel work was excellent, together with his stablemates, always interfering in the match and attracting heat. The match had several fun bits, and maybe the only notable flaw was the duration, it really looked like a main event sometimes lol. But after some good nearfalls, Ricochet won the match after a lionsault, and that whole development towards the finish was well done too - {***1/2}"
