[6.0] "Good showcase for Mascara Dorada, not that he needs it, but Yutani just isn't there yet. Yutani seems to be pretty competent as pulling off most of his moves but the connective tissue is really lacking as he spends too much time getting ready for the next spot. He's far less fluid than Dorada which is fine but very noticeable when they share a ring. Yutani also really fucked that Reverse Phoenix Splash as it looked like he just caved in Dorada's sternum. Dorada showed up though. The bump he took on the guardrail after Yutani no sold the headscissors was gnarly and I've also never seen him attempt a rope walk on that size before. Dorada improves everyday but his dance partner left a bit to be desired"
[8.0] "These two clicked and kept things relatively uncomplicated by modern standards. Selling and a sense of struggle took a back seat to one spectacular highlight after another, but if you're in the mood for that kind of match, this ticks all the boxes ****"
[4.0] "This was a solid match, but it felt much more like Dorada's one-man show. Yutani didn't get to show many of his defining traits, and the in-ring content simply didn't justify his current CAGEMATCH rating. There was far too little back-and-forth wrestling and strike exchange to carry the match. (***1/2)"
[9.0] "A couple minor flubs they recovered well from keep this from getting a ten for me. I think this is the best singles match I've seen from Yutani, I hope this performance leads to more opportunities for him. Dorada's rope walk dive was impressive and I thought the way they set up for it was clever."
[9.0] "Dorada vs. Yutani kicked off at a fast pace immediately, which is often what I'm drawn to in lucha matches. The bump from Dorada's failed hurricanrana on the barricade was brutal and came just a minute or so into the match. Yutani really has something, with incredible rudo heat. He does all of the right things, like playing for jeers by bowing to the audience while standing on the middle rope. This was a great match that ended at exactly the right time. Yutani rolling out of the ring to avoid a dive, only to end up hit with a rope run dive by Dorada and then finished off was perfect."
[9.0] "Mascara Dorada vs Yutani was a crazy match with some insane high flying sequences between both men and a breakneck speed. The pacing was phenomenal and crescendoed at the right time (****1/2)"
[10.0] "I thought this was absolutely tremendous, even when they had some slips, they raced to follow up with intensity and did something even more violent. I also liked the anything you can do I can do better nature of the match, with Yutani following up aggressively whenever Dorada's flying gave him the edge."
[9.0] "Yutani was a great base throughout this one, but, let's be honest, this was the Máscara Dorada show. Insane ropewalk plancha, a gorgeous tornillo, a plancha from the stairs, and an absolutely gnarly bump on the barricade, elevating this match to one of CMLL's best of the year."
