[7.0] "This match was quite slow, but I still think it was good--especially thanks to the performance of Jun Akiyama, who did a great job guiding Chono. The finish was good, though honestly very predictable. 3.75 stars."
[8.0] "I was scared for a 30 minutes match but it was pretty good. Chono did All Japan submissions moves but the crowd didn't react. I was into it at the end. Good work by both guys. ***3/4"
[7.0] "A pretty good match was that definitely carried by Jun Akiyama. Masahiro Chono seems over the hill for the most part and must follow his lead. I have to give them credit, for a 30 minute match, it seems to by fly while I was watching it."
[4.0] "They were just told to draw and they did. I think the duel is a bit halutra and underdeveloped. Frankly, it's uninteresting from beginning to end. You don't believe in Akiyama winning or Chono winning, because both don't do anything dangerous. Chono was clearly of an age and that hindered him a lot, and in the end the fight goes like this, Akiyama beats him up, Chono does one move, breaks Akiyama himself and so on until the very end. Sadly, the expectations were much, much higher. **"
