[6.0] "A somewhat rushed title change in an entertaining match that nonetheless offered very little in the way of wrestling, especially for the champions. In-ring quality: 0.5/4. Stakes: 2/2. Justification: 0.75/1. Placement on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 1/1. Bonus/Penalty: None. Total: 6.25/10. Match watched on Netflix (FR)."

Speaking of that feud, seems like WWE is just gonna drag it out til mania, honestly this has been going on for long enough."

[5.0] "I actually didn't think this was a bad match. By no means anything special, but I thought it was perfectly watchable. I would've preferred Fraxiom to win but at the end of the day I'm just glad they got the titles out of what may be the worst vortex in wrestling right now. I like that R-Truth is using Cena's moveset too."

[2.0] "Damian Priest & R-Truth, I like both of them, always have but this is something when you simulate your WWE 2K Universe, and see the game create a random Tag Team that goes on to win a WWE Tag Team Title. The MFTs had one of the worst title reigns I've ever seen as a wrestling fan. They were feuding over a Lantern, forgetting they were the WWE Tag Team Champions. JC Mateo man... Jeff Cobb could've been a killer in the Mid-Card scene, but is now made a joke. But I feel like this was made so Damian Priest has something for WrestleMania this year. But this stuff is so random and uninspiring, noting this Brand has Fraxiom, Los Garza, Motor City Machine Guns & Street Profits. Who are all the amazing Tag Teams that never get the good booking they all truly deserve? So I don't like this. It's a great moment, I guess, for the crowd, but in the long term, it still doesn't fix anything within the SmackDown Tag Team Division. Also, MFTs need to disband entirely. It's a failure of a group. Solo Sikoa went on to have the worst WWE United States Title Reign and WWE Tag Team Title Reign in recent memory."

[2.0] "It's not done badly it's just nothing. One of the most boring teams locking up with a team that does nothing, in a badly structured match. But at least the tag titles. got out of this bullshit story between MFT and The Wyatt's"
dhruboezit wrote on 22.03.2026:
[3.0] "This was a normal match with the usual Cena-mimicking from R truth and the somewhat pathetic aid from the jobber Damien Priest. The MFT as usual were terrible. The rivalry between Uncle Horny and Co. and the Tongans led by Solo Boroa is truly ABYSMAL. You wanna put a noose around your neck automatically while watching shit like that. I mean who even cares about the SmackDown tag division or the tag titles or whatever they're called now. These are worth less than a few stones. Winning these mean nothing, and the guys holding it don't exactly help the situation either."

[3.0] "Mediocre match for the tag team titles. It's sad to see the state of the SmackDown tag team division, which used to be incredible and has now been reduced to a thrown together team of Priest and R-Truth being the new champions. The match was very basic and quite dull, the only one who seemed to put in a real effort was R-Truth so credit to him for that. There was more nonsense between the MFT and Wyatts who continue to feud over a stupid lantern as they get into a big brawl. R-Truth hits Cobb with an AA for the win. This division is in dire need of rebuilding. 3/10"

[2.0] "This just boring, I mean this was just heatless and uneventful. The MFT faction isn't working & the random alliance of Priest & Truth is just random. The in-ring work was meh. The interference of the Wyatt's pissed me off, cause once they showed, I knew we were getting new champs. MFT's reign wasn't good, but I'm not excited for the reign of the non-tag team duo. Jeff hit an impressive backflip in this match, the only thing I liked in this match."

[6.0] "At 54 years old R-Truth is still performing at the highest level being the MVP of this match. He is stealing everything from a great stunner to the best comeback of all time from John Cena. The 2.9 count after the MFT interference was timed perfectly by Truth. Of course, they got the Wyatts involved because they aren't ready to give up on feuds the crowd aren't in to. Impressed that Truth could get Matteo up and give him such a good looking AA. Overall the match was fine but R-Truth gave it 120% which made the match better than it should have been ."

Smi-48 wrote on 21.03.2026:
[4.0] "This match seems to confirm once and for all what many had long suspected: WWE has a tag team problem. In their third joint TV match, a subpar performance is enough for Truth & Priest to win the title. That doesn't really do anyone any favors. The match is riddled with interference and offers little in the way of quality."
