[5.0] "Better than the Aono match but it's still Shoko being blown out of the ring by a superior wrestler and her offense really only has bite when she rips a nice lariat (she ripped one nice lariat.) Otherwise it looks odd that Utami is getting bowled over and 2.9 kicking out of soft blows."

[6.0] "Another solid trial match for SYOKO that served its purpose in showing the gap between her and the top of the roster. She had a few moments where she looked competitive, but it was clear that Utami Hayashishita was largely in control. Utami did a good job guiding the match and giving SYOKO enough offense to keep things interesting while still maintaining the story of the experience difference. A decent match overall, though SYOKO will need to show more progress for this trial series to really pay off."

[6.0] "The second of SYOKO's trial matches. With the point being to see where SYOKO measures up compared to the top of the roster, she definitely has a ways to go before reaching that level. Utami does a good job selling and making SYOKO look at least somewhat competitive before beating her. At some point SYOKO is going to have to show more than she is if this story is going to mean anything, but on its own this match was solid. 6/10"
