I really liked the way their relationship developed because at the beginning Syuri didn't want to shake Windsor's hand, but by the end we saw that she had earned his respect. I loved it when they slapped each other really hard, and also the moment when Syuri knocked Windsor to the ground, only for him to get back up every time."

[9.0] "Well as expected they did what they do best. Syuri is easily the best in the world so her performance was a very good one to say the least. I don't think i have ever watched Alex but she impressed me here, her in-ring is really solid and she's very likable. Windsor winning was definitely surprising at least to me, i'm happy for her but Syuri once again losing another title on her first defense just doesn't sit right with me. ****, 25"

[7.0] "[3.25*] Great match! I'm not gonna lie, I was able to connect myself way more with Syuri vs Athena because the early stretch of the match was more interesting and creative, even with the limb-work. The focus here was 100% the ending stretch, which was very fighting spirit coded and had some insane stuff. Overall I thought this was a great hard-hitting battle, but as a whole it didn't impress me a lot because I've already seen tons of matches like this. Happy for Windsor tho! Awesome moment."

[6.0] "This match was really saved by its final act but tripped over the finish line. I loved there last bout and now that I'm more aware of Windsor and her style, I was quite excited to see how they'd improve. Unfortunately I think this was a bit shy of their last match and really boiled down to a mostly hard hitting back and forth. This is one of Windsor's better matches as of late but pretty reserved for Syuri especially off the back of her match with Athena. Windsor pulled through in the end, proving that she could hang with Syuri once the intensity increased and we got some of the best strikes in the whole match. The match ultimately ends with Windsor hitting a Made in Japan but it felt kinda unearned and went over pretty flat. There was surprise from the crowd and commentators but not surprise that Windsor was able to beat Syuri but more that that was all it took. I'm just not sure that Windsor going over here was the best move considering the contrasts in matches either woman has been having lately and this match didn't really do much to prove me wrong on that front"

Nevertheless, congratulations to Alex, she deserves it because she is a great talent, but Syuri is left with a rather poor reign, honestly."

Really weird choice as well too to have Syuri lose here after winning the title at the Tokyo Dome over Stardom's current biggest draw."

[8.0] "This was paced excellently and both women showed a diverse in-ring skillset that meant things remained exciting throughout; the strikes, the submissions, the throws and drivers were all top-drawer. Absolute golden selling and intensity from Windsor, with the result to match; a statement performance despite her already being an established star."

Everything was fine, the moves were executed well and the pace was ok, I just found a lot of the match pretty uninteresting and a lot of stuff that's been seen a thousand times before. Nice moment though and happy for Windza, doing it for England."

[6.0] "This is well worked, most things look good and Windsor picks up a big win but I don't know, it was just pretty soulless. There's no connective tissue here, it's move after move and then one more move and it's over. There's nothing unique enough here to drag me in and the pace remains the same throughout. There's no ebbs & flows, it's just... there. A lot of matches are like this. I just struggle to get into matches that don't have a specific focus. There's no focused, consistent limb work here, there's not a focus on 'high octane' offence, there's not a focus on striking. It's just do one thing and go to the next, and that makes me struggle with this. ***1/4."

[6.0] "Everything was super hard hitting and mostly well executed, but ultimately this was yet another modern day, cookie cutter, moves back & forth overload with dead end limb work, spirit spots in all the usual places and a finish that caught everyone off guard because it was just another bomb ***1/4"

ChocoboSage wrote on 09.03.2026:
[9.0] "A really good, heavy hitting match. Syuri going for the big strieks and her submissions. Windsor trying to match ehr and hit big lariats. The slap exchange was great stuff, Syuri was enjoying it too. Windosr eventually hits her finisher and new champ! Very good match and one hell of an entrance from Windsor too"

[9.0] "This was My match of the night. Both incredible talents go to war with incredible striking. Syuris knee was insane. Windsor really showed her fighting spirit. Syuris booking lately has been appaling but in terms of this match it truly was stellar."

[9.0] "This match was fantastic, loved every second of this match. The strikes, moves, sequences, counters and the chemistry these two had here were all incredible. These two bring the best in each other when they step in the ring with each other. Syuri is just an amazing wrestler and Windsor keeps proving herself, Syuri really brings the best out of Alex. The elbows delivered by both women in this match were brutal looking, literally everything they did looked amazing. The slap exchange was great, nothing held back and sounded stiff. Windsor had such a fighting spirit in this match. I was shocked when Windsor won."

[10.0] "It's Syuri, of course it's a guaranteed banger. Booking of the Strong titles aside (I don't know who's at fault there, Gedo or Rocky), an incredibly hard hitting joshi match which made me reach for that proverbial post-coital cigarette."
bam binton wrote on 09.03.2026:
[6.0] "Loved their first match, but this didn't hit for me. Also the Strong belts are a mess, but having Syuri lose in her first defence after beating Saya is kind of dumb. To me, this never really got out of second gear, but was still enjoyable."
celticinvader wrote on 09.03.2026:
[9.0] "I love Alex Windsor so much, and the best version of Alex Windsor is stiff Alex Windsor. This is stiff Alex Windsor going up against stiff Syuri and it was incredible. Some absolute nasty looking bumps in this, and it didn't overegg the pudding. Was stunned by the title change, especially so close to Syuri beating Saya Kamitani, but I'm too happy for Alex to be annoyed."
[8.0] "I'm 50/50 on the winner but this was a great match. Syuri is one of the best women's wrestlers on the planet and Windsor was good too. Syuri losing this quick is a choice but we'll see how it ends up playing out."
Rollforinsight wrote on 08.03.2026:

[6.0] "The average rating here will be 8, and that's understandable...but once you've watched enough Syuri matches, you start to notice the ones she's not locked in for. This was very clearly one of them."
daveportivo wrote on 08.03.2026:
[8.0] "Result was a bit of a given as soon as they announced the Strong title was even being defended, let alone in isolation, but enough people were surprised that it made for a great moment. In terms of the crowd locking in and being gripped by straight wrestling, Syuri vs Windsor was clearly the highlight. Syuri is so safe and precise and her facial expressions are incredible in person. She's so dramatic, intense and charismatic without undercutting the big fight feel. Alex was very good too, always hitting hard and showing determination. I'm not sure if this was on the level of their first match. The work seemed crisper and cleaner here, but this match had a very dominant and quite early finish. So we didn't get all the big nearfalls and top rope throws we got in the first match. I had it around ***3/4 or **** as easily the best match of the night."

[8.0] "Honestly I did not expect this result it surprised me a lot, to talk about the match I found it REALLY disappointing I expected much more coming from the two, the match is very good but I expected exceptional, when I see the announcement of the match I expect to put 9 or 10 not 8, I would have liked them to have more time also it is a reproach that we can make to the majority of the matches of this show, the matches were too short."
