Murat Bosporus vs. Takashi Sugiura

[6.0] "Yea wasn't totally into this match. I wasn't familiar with either wrestler but seeing that Takashi Sugiura was GHC junior Heavyweight champion at the time gave both him and this match some extra stock. That being said outside of a good stiff elbow exchange and some trading of running strikes and German suplexs there wasn't a whole lot to this match. Murat Bosporus clearly had a lot of the crowd behind him which was good but the guy just looked physically out paced the champion. Still solid match just not one to eagerly seek out"

[8.0] "If this match would be taking place today, it would be for the GHC Heavyweight Title - Bosporus is clearly a heavyweight wrestler, he was bigger than Sugiura here. This really was a hoss battle, there was a sequence where they traded Release German Suplexes and had double down right after that. Bosporus was really impressive here, he came across as a less experienced wrestler, but he absolutely belonged in the same ring with Sugiura, and the crowd was chanting for him late in the match. Sugiura tried his best to make Bosporus look great. ****"
