[8.0] "Call me what you want but Damien Priest and R-Truth together is gold. Also the gauntlet itself was absolutely fine, by no means a bad match and even a good one i'd say"
[4.0] "Lazy booking with a relatively predictable outcome. This type of match gives very little time for either team to shine and, above all, allows teams to lose easily by assuming they already had several minutes of match time under their belts. In-ring quality: 0.5/4. Stakes: 1/2. Justification: 0.75/1. Placement on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 0.25/1. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.5/10. Match watched on Netflix (FR)."
[4.0] "I can't remember when we saw tag team turmoil in WWE last time, but this was weird. Wrestling was not bad, but they builted this match in the worst way, where the best teams were eliminated in the start. If they do everething reverse, everyone would like it, but we got a Priest and R-Truth as a tag team #1 contenders. What a horrible way to book tag division like that."
[7.0] "I thought Motor City Machine Guns vs Nathan Frazer/Axiom vs Legado del Fantasma vs Wyatt Sicks vs Damian Priest/R-Truth Gauntlet match ended up being mostly a good contest quality-wise. I give this Gauntlet tag match a 7 out of 10 on this site."
[4.0] "The booking here is certainly something. There's so many good tag teams in this match, and you give Damian Priest and Truth, and the wyatts the spotlight? It's just frustrating. I didn't even think the in ring work was bad, but once again the booking here is just so so poor. I'm also taking off a point for how long this was, which is an issue considering how poorly this was booked."
[2.0] "This sucked. It's sad to see the state of the SmackDown tag team division. MCMG and Fraxiom start off, they were having a decent back and forth then it ends on a botched finish. Los Garza beat Fraxiom after a couple of minutes. The Wyatt Sicks come in and do their usual boring routine that nobody cares about, then we get MFT interference to cost them as a continuation of that horrible feud. Damian Priest and R-Truth teaming together is bizarre. Why are they in this match and where are the Street Profits? Anyway, Priest and Truth win to become the number one contenders for the tag team titles. Stupid. Boring match from beginning to end. 2/10"
[6.0] "Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin vs. Angel & Berto vs. Axiom & Nathan Frazer vs. Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy was good overall with Los Garza's looking the best Fraxiom vs. MCMG was a good start wasn't a fan of the final result with R-Truth & Priest winning."
[1.0] "What the fuck was this, man. Just to get an MFT vs. Wyatt feud going, smackdown decided to cull the most exciting tag team division worldwide. MCMG getting eliminated that way is a disgrace, and without them and Fraxiom the match just didn't hold together. Truly awful."
[2.0] "I have a lot of issues with this match. First things first, the fact that Fraxiom and Motor City Machine Guns haven't had enough TV time this year is hilarious, as the SmackDown Tag Team Division has been heavily neglected. But I thought we saw a botch as we saw Alex Shelley trying to put Chris Sabin's foot on the rope, but the referee didn't see it, which resulted in Fraxiom eliminating Motor City Machine Guns. Los Garzas came out as a very underrated team that hasn't made much noise since the summer of last year, as they were AAA World Tag Team Champions. But they actually got the elimination as they eliminated Fraxiom to stay alive, which made me happy as both men, Angel and Berto, are heavily talented. The Wyatt Sicks came in and I thought this is where the match turn for the worst as Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy were working the Garzas but the MFts made an appearance costing them the match as Los Garzas eliminated the Wyatt Sicks now I'm happy because I had a feeling maybe Los Garzas will be next in line, but... this is where things went from wrong to straight up laughable the custom tag team of Damian Priest and R-Truth came and we know the rest they earned a future oppertunity for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Now, here's my issue: this could've been the perfect place to have the Street Profits return to get that No. 1 Contender for the WWE Tag Team Titles, but a team that had no matches ever gets the opportunity. This is what I call creative malpractice."
[4.0] "An okay match, but a mess story telling wise... Some fine match ups, but no proper overall story. The end of Motor city machine guns and Axiom and Frazer should have been a much bigger deal than it was... The interfence by the MFT also fell flat... This divison really needs help"
[6.0] "This match was decent but hardly spectacular. Don't agree with the winner, far better options. The opening sequences between Fraxiom and MCMG were very entertaining to watch and I would like to see more of that, I barely remember watching them wrestle the past 6 months."
[7.0] "Outside of the botches (which were pretty impactful), this match was a fun watch, now i'm intrigued to see how Priest & Truth work as a team going into this tag title match, wouldn't be opposed to a title run."
[7.0] "Indefensible result, awful choice to not only throw those guys together but also tell us they're winning by giving only them a backstage segment... buuuuut the first half or two-thirds of this was pretty hot. Los Garza are massively underrated and Humberto especially is excellent in the ring. Lots of other issues with the match but it's actually worth watching for the most part."
[3.0] "I'm confused about what I just watched. the most deserving team was eliminated first, and the rest of course was pretty expected. I don't why they signed these people if they're going to misuse them or burn them out for the rest of their time and ultimately spitting them out. Evil, evil corporation."
[7.0] "I felt the chaos only added to the drama. Well all knew who was gonna win - they're building a story - stop whining. But this was also a chance for us to get to see some real action from guys on Main Event. I don't care - Nate is a beast. His speed and arial game are must watch. I also gotta stand by my boys from Los Garza. They deserve some shine here and there. And yall love TRUTH. Plus Dame never looked so good. His kicks were crisp and lethal. I like this - it actually works. Lighten up IWC"
[3.0] "Has WWE tag team wrestling hit rock bottom again? It certainly seems that way. If this is the contender's material, if MCMG aren't allowed to play a role, then that's a damning indictment. And, my God, it's long. It's boring. And obviously no one gives a damn. And because Damien Priest is now teaming up with R-Truth and the two of them give an interview beforehand, everyone knows who's going to win here. It's time-wasting at a very low level."
[5.0] "Quite underwhelming considering the tag division smackdown does have already and to see Damian priest and Truth when was quite underwhelming due to the fact that they've never been a tag team and yearly of History, but they should not be beating teams like the motor City machine guns, for example, and even the wyatts s lost godzas looked pretty good here, but that's about it. This is a match that I am not going to remember nor want to remember as again, they have some of the best tag teams in the world and they're giving the spotlight to Damien priest who is the main of. And R Truth that is a comedy character and should not be in a spot like this"
[2.0] "So let me get this straight, out of all the teams in this, you have the non tag team win? Are you actually kidding me? Any team should've won, except Truth & Priest. The wrestling was decent overall, except the final 2 match in this Gauntlet. Fraxiom vs MCMG was the only good match from this disaster. I thought this was gonna save the tag division, but nope. Also, why are they keeping the Street Profits off TV? They could've been in this match instead of Truth and Priest."
[6.0] "I get that most don't like the result of this match but I thought the match as a whole was pretty good with the different styles. I'd rather see Priest in the tag team scene for a while anyway. The feuds he's been in since he left JD have been lackluster to say the least"
[2.0] "I'm gonna be honest, I kind of forgot the Motor City Machine Guns were still in WWE. I hope they're getting what they want out of being there because the fans sure aren't. Having Priest and Truth win was certainly a choice. WWE's hatred of tag team wrestling is so strange and evidently it wasn't just Vince who hated it."
[6.0] "This match wasn't bad, but the result...Truth and Priest will be a funny team, but the tag division deserves better than this. I miss the last year book for that division."
[3.0] "It's a very strange structure. MCMG and Fraxiom started the match, it was quite dynamic, but gradually the pace decreased and the match began to seem too long. And also, I think, it's a strange decision to send to the main show of the year for the tag team titles a wrestlers, who, although they had a joint history a couple of years ago, in fact are not even a tag team partners."
[3.0] "This was awful. Just an overbooked, low energy, generic move, house show structured mess. This did nothing for most of the teams and arguably did a lot of them harm so a thrown together comedy buddy team could pick up a win. The SmackDown tag division was the best thing in wrestling this time last year, and now it's arguably the worst. What a disaster."
[1.0] "This match was nothing more than a mockery of the WWE tag division. The best possible match in the SmackDown division occurs in the first part of Turmoil, lasting about 8 minutes, with half of those minutes being ads. Not that I don't like Priest and Truth individually, but having one of the best tag teams in history in MCMG and one of the most promising in Fraxiom, only to then give the victory to Priest & Truth... I'm completely lost in my own words."
[3.0] "Crowd is dead even tho we start with the best two tag teams in the company.. gotta love that crowd. By god MCMG vs Fraxiom is beautiful. like unironically a some godlike sequences! And they eliminate the best team via referee mistake? Angel and Berto are such a downgrade its crazy. Yup of course, eliminate the 2 workrate teams for the fucking Wyatts and then hand the victory to the useless comedy duo that was just thrown together seconds ago... went from 7+/10 at the beginning to get progressively more boring. 6 ads in this... The tag division was getting 5 Star matches last year and now it's this. Are we really booking Damian Priest and Truth to win at mania by wyatt interference?"
[5.0] "The tag team turmoil. The start was cool with MCMG/FRAXIOM and GARZA/FRAXIOM. The wrestling was very good and fast-paced. I admit that the finish with MCMG/FRAXIOM was strange. The second part of the match was less impressive with slow wrestling. The result is a shame. Seeing Truth with Priest is already horrible for a guy who was important in 2024. They give a championship match to a guy who never wrestles. You can't revive the tag team division with that. Fraxiom would have been the ideal team for the win."
[3.0] "What was happened to the Smackdown tag team division. This makeshift team managed to win over all established teams. Why are MCMG or Fraxiom not being given a chance to run this division. Where are the Street Profits? Just baffling. The match was overly long and crowd did not care for much of it"
[3.0] "[**] Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. I love priest and r truth and am happy they won but they spent 25 minutes on this bullshit. MCMG get destroyed in the first match and are made to look life fools, back to mid card for them., they also teased them breaking up? Wtf? Then Fraxiom get squashed by.. BERTO & GARZA? Then it's the Wyatt sicks and of course it's MFT shenanigans as they drag the feud to WM. Finally priest and truth save the day with mediocre wrestling but somewhat funny comedy to win the turmoil match. What a mess."
[2.0] "Enough already, it's 2026 and I have to watch R-Truth at WrestleMania? At WM we should have had Fraxiom vs MCMG what are they doing? The problem is they need to find something for Priest to do. Anyway, that match was awful, and I'm afraid nobody even really tried because the booking was terrible. Fraxiom vs Los Garzas? A two-minute match? Seriously? The management of the tag division is just indefensible."
[2.0] "I couldn't wait to rate this match! This match was borderline horrific on all levels. Truly one of the worst matches of 2026 (so far). Everything here was just done wrong. We start with MCMG vs. Fraxiom which lasts 7 minutes and ends via botched finish / shit finish. Los Garzas return and they beat Fraxiom in 2 minutes. The Wyatts Sicks come out and they have a dead air match until MFT comes out and Truth and Priest come in to basically squash Los Garzas. Just a terrible match from a booking standpoint and made the Tag Team division look like shit. [*.15]"
