Neither of them are physically impressive and they both make up for it by either no-selling or overselling everything. They remind me of a studio wrestling enhancement duo like the Mulkey Brothers. The sequences were slick enough and Oliver in particular is very good being a sympathetic punching bag, but this match should not have gone as long as it did and should not have been competitive. Despy and KUSHIDA were wasted here."

[6.0] "Seeing Price & Oliver in NJPW was great, Jordan in particular putting in a statement performance to overcome an onslaught of very well sold offence to the shoulder. Kushida & El Desperado also really stepped up to the plate here with great teamwork and diverse offence, making for a competitive feel throughout. Ultimately I was left disappointed to see the lesser established pairing take a win where the alternative would have been huge, but all-in-all this was strong."

Desperado and Kushida have shown what they have been showing for many years. Great team wrestling, where the veterans won. Basically, no intrigue. ***1/4"

Would love to see one or both of these guys get in either BOSJ or SJ Tag League. Despy is really good and brought it against two high fliers, and KUSHIDA isn't a NJPW mainstay as much anymore, but still had a good showing here and still has tread on his tires."

Price & Oliver had a lot of fan support due to their work on the indies in the area, and they went hard against two greats of NJPW's Junior Heavyweight title picture in KUSHIDA & Desperado. Get Price & Oliver on a tour of Japan working with the other Junior Heavyweights and see them absolutely shine."

However, KUSHIDA and El Desperado brought there veteran expertise for these over young wrestlers, enough that KUSHIDA and El Desperado were getting pushed to their limit. Fun mid-card tag action."

Lots of fun sequences here with the match ending by Desperado pinning Price as Kushida just barely holds Oliver off."
