Dan Tamura & Hikaru Sato vs. Kota Sekifuda & Toshiyuki Sakuda

[6.0] "Some basic structural storytelling with mild hardcore spots. Dan Tamura is a charisma void, like you have been Jr Champion already, why are you wearing this jobber shorts?"

[6.0] "A lot of this wasn't great but Dan going hardcore definitely gave it a bump for me. The second half essentially turned into a mild hardcore match and we get Dan wrapping his hand in barbed wire etc. Bit silly but at least we didn't get the awful saw spot with MUSASHI from the recent show. ***"

[6.0] "This match occurred after the intermission, but it felt pretty flat and didn't do much to wake the crowd up despite the addition of weapons."

[8.0] "Hell yeah. These four right here are my boys. Old school storytelling. Give the bad guys a taste of their own medicine. Dan Tamura wrapping his arm in barbed wire was sick."

[6.0] "It was truly bizarre to see this of all matches to be this high on the card on one of the bigger AJPW shows outside of Korakuen, though obviously AJPW wants to make Jr. Tag League a bigger deal because of how many women fans they have these days, but I think all four wrestlers did a good job getting the crowd engaged and sending them on a bit of the ride in the last few minutes. Tamura wrapping barbed wire around his arm to throw a few lariats was quite a sight."

[6.0] "This Junior Tag Tournament is a good idea too elevate this division, not the best match so car, but it was ok."

[5.0] "Very strange match. They had a mini death match in the middle which the crowd didn't know what to make of. Tamura looked good but overall a very uneven match that likely looked better on paper. **1/3"
