[6.0] "Boy, this sure did go a while. Not a match I disliked at all, but I typically feel less positive about matches I give a 6/10 to when they're around the length of time this ran for. I'd much rather see a 10-minute 6/10 match than a 30-minute one, though, again, both are good."
[6.0] "An interesting format that reminds me of torneo cibernetico matches in CMLL. The first part of the match especially with Aoki in the ring was more interesting than the ending but it was still enough to keep me invested throughout the entirety of the match. Nothing spectacular but I did enjoy watching this."
[7.0] "It had enough good and interesting moments to rise above the baseline even with kind of annoying elimination rules (time limit, over the top). I especially like Yamashita vs Hanako part, and the final pairing with Akira and Rian was fun."
[3.0] "Unfortunately, I really didn't enjoy this despite the wrestlers involved. Slow pacing, strange elimination gauntlet type rules didn't help. And given it lasted so long, I became completely bored by the mid-point."
[7.0] "Ironically the least exciting part of the match was Maika vs Suzu - the matchup that main-evented Sumo Hall a couple of years ago. But I pretty much enjoyed the rest. Itsuki Aoki work worth some credit as she made the first two eliminations look really credible, selled the exhaustence and put Hanako over in the end. Akira's facial expressions are just awesome and I liked she looked the most aimed at winning person of the match. The 4 vs. 5 aspect of the match was the biggest sin of the whole match."
[4.0] "I enjoyed the lead up to the feud but unfortunately the gauntlet finish was just way too long a way to resolve it. The most interesting part about it was Itsuki Aoki surviving the first two opponents and pushing HANAKO until finally being put down. After that, though, the matchups felt muddled. Having 10 minutes max put everyone into the strike exchange part of a typical 10+ minute match, skipping all the build up that would give it the juice of escalating to the closing phase, and then the matches felt sluggish. The last big exciting moment of the match would be when HANAKO double eliminated herself and Rina Yamashita with the lariat to the outside, with the factionmates (minus Xena, notably as far as how invested everyone was in this do or die match) rushing to check on them. Maika/Suzu in 2026 are not quite Maika/Suzu at Dream Queendom 2023, unfortunately, or perhaps they just need more time in a match to get back there. I did look forward to the Rian/Akira Kurogane finale, although quickly their relative inexperience revealed they weren't going to have the touch to give this match the weight it needed. Their movesets are still quite basic, their psychology is still developing, their pacing is rough, and their technique is still not ready for this kind of spot on a PPV. All in all, a disappointing finish to a feud I did enjoy but it does eliminate a vestigial faction that was built on pairing Maika with someone's currently in AEW. Perhaps a fresh new start for everyone in the group."
[6.0] "I have a completely different opinion about this match. The final segment of Rian and Kurogane was good for them as young joshi, but just nothing for the viewer for the most part, even though the girls are generally great. Maika and Suzuki played the worst part of the match, and I honestly don't understand what people find exciting in a match that is frankly dragging on. From the beginning, it is clear that these two will fly out together and for some reason they were allowed to go the whole distance. Chemistry is zero, meaning is zero, they just make moves for the sake of moves, trying to captivate the most boring and banal moments. And those finishers at the end of the match made me roll my eyes. It was a really tasteless sight, but I liked the story of Aoki's survival and the struggle between the giant HANAKO and the desperate Yamashita. It made a lot more sense, there was at least some kind of idea and the story of the match was developing."
[4.0] "This feud between EXV and MVL has been terrible. Another five on four handicap match after the previous one ended in a ridiculous draw, only this time it's a gauntlet. Really breaking out the creativity there. The match goes a long time without much interesting happening. The wrestling is fine, there's just nothing to care about and is a slog to get through. Maika vs Suzu was by far the best part of the match, they fought to a time limit draw. Unfortunately it appears that Maika suffered a neck injury, hopefully it's not that bad. The final two being Akira and Rian, the least experienced members of each team, was certainly a choice but it was a chance for the rookies to show off what they could do in a big spot so it made sense. They had a good back and forth before Akira wins it for MVL with some awkward looking submission. EXV disbanding was for the best because it's never been a meaningful or coherent group. 4.5/10"
[2.0] "This whole feud between Mi Vida Loca and Empress Nexus Venus has sucked. Akira/Rian were the best part of the whole feud but not great. This match was pretty bad. Heatless autopilot boring wrestling and weirdly booked match. EXV disbanding is the best thing that happened here."
[7.0] "Some fun match ups, with the rookies and Maika v Suzu being the standouts. Some smart booking in it's final stretch too. Overly long and generally bloated though, and some wide variation in the quality of each section. Hopefully Maika isn't injured again..."
[7.0] "I have very much enjoyed this feud, but Bozilla's injury really took the edge off this final reckoning. The match was a mix wild stuff that looked great and over-ambitious stuff that went wrong. Some portions were fantastic, some were weak. Overall, I had a good time and the finishing portion was dramatic."
[6.0] "A fairly average match for a rivalry that could and should have been better, the last three confrontations are by far the best but what we will remember is the end of EXV and a new injury for Maika I hope she will return quickly good recovery to her"
[0.0] "There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that could've made me like this match, or get invested in it at all. But it was bad regardless. This stipulation is worse than the last one, and it was poorly paced with the matchups not making much sense. Way, way too long. 30+ minutes with nothing of note. This feud is finally over. That is the only good thing to come from this."
