[7.0] "Complete chaos, this is a wild and violent party match that delivers on its on-paper potential. Quietly, it sports some structure too, with Awesome and Funk taking a de facto heat segment along the way. More notably though, they push a wild pace throughout, packing this with ridiculous action for a memorable Korakuen main event. ***1/2"
[7.0] "It's sloppy as hell but its also pretty damn fun in a chaotic kind of way. Tanaka and Awesome steal the show here but Hayabusa and Funk get their moments (like a beautiful head scissors by Hayabusa). Its good but not exceptional."
[10.0] "Man what an absolutely crazy tag match here. I had way too much fun with this. The stuff Mike Awesome was able to do for someone his size is just absurd. The nerve of that table to keep no selling for Tanaka, his head had to have hurt after this. That neckbreaker with the chain over the ropes that Hayabusa takes near the end is one of the craziest things I've ever seen."
[8.0] "This is absolutely great fun. Just a big wild brawl. It is a minor miracle that Awesome did not accidently murder anyone in this, it was a close run thing, he also did not sell shit."
[7.0] "This was pretty good. Back to Hayabusa and Tanaka as a team as they're the new aces rising. Tanaka does most of the work and Hayabusa hits his spots great. There are some flashes of greatness between Gladiator and Tanaka but also some awkward moments and it kinda prevented this from reaching a new level. Terry Funk was very good."
[8.0] "This match was the embodiment of those years FMW. A fast fun hardcore fight with a mix of styles from match participants', each of which was memorable. Tanaka vs Awesome segments were especially good, although then their rivalry had not yet received legendary status, but they had already found incredible chemistry. Hayabusa was a wonderful fighting face in this match, and Funk and his stable perfectly played the role of the foreigners villains in post-match segment. Very intense action, 8 points."
[9.0] "It started as a fun fast brawl, but from the moment Tanaka and Hayabusa tried to turn the tide closer to the middle of the match it picked up intensity and chaos and never lost till the end. Gladiator's table shots could've been a little safer though."
[8.0] "This was a terrific brawl. Enough plunder spots to be exciting but not so many that they felt overdone. Terry Funk was still great at this point, Hayabusa showed off his innovative high-flying offense, Mike Awesome showed off his power and Masato Tanaka showed his great combo of brawling and technical skill."
[9.0] "These are four of the craziest badass sons of bitches on the planet, of course this ruled. the best spot of the match was Terry doing the electric chair and then Mike Awesome spiking Hayabusa's neck on the apron. THAT RULED."
