[7.0] "Good action but I didn't actively care about either of these guys, unfortunately, so that brings it down a notch. Sean Legacy is a physical specimen and his spot in the NXT Championship ladder match is a huge chance for him to show out. Ricky Saints really added a lot on commentary here."
[8.0] "What a match! This was such a fun match and a great way to introduce Eli Knight to the WWE Universe, and I know he was in WWE EVOLVE, but Eli Knight and Sean Legacy tore the house down in this match. Both of these talents are some wrestlers I see thriving and maybe winning some gold in WWE. This match showed that if you allow people to go out there and hoop they'll deliver and it was very evident in this match I really enkoyed this I was glued to my TV watching this match, and Sean Legacy who's one of my picks to win the WWE NXT Title with Keanu Carver I think will have a great performance in the future Six-Man Ladder Match for the WWE NXT Title. For Eli Knight, the future is briught and the talent rhere let the man get the ball and show people what he can do with it."
[4.0] "Didn't vibe with this at all, same flippy cruiserweight stuff everyone in the wrestling world has been obsessed with for 20 years and these guys do nothing to stand out from the crowd, throw in a couple of eyerolling spots like the synchronized dropkicks and the weird leg holding bit at the beginning and yeah, this is a no for me."
[6.0] "[3 Stars] Can't say I was overly impressed with either of these guys, I must say. Not that they aren't skilled or talented but they didn't do an awful lot to me that made them standout in an era in wrestling where like most people stepping in the ring for these big companies is full of the same talent and skill. Pretty basic match structure and story being told too."
[7.0] "Wow, I haven't any expectation of this match, but this guy stole the show. I knew that Sean Legacy is very talented wrestler, but Eli Knight is a new gut for me, but he is also good. Solid performance by 2 man, that will be a future of NXT for sure. Glad that Legacy won and I hope that he also will be signed on a full NXT contract."
[7.0] "I missed this match because of the internet, but watching the highlights, it seemed to be very good in the ring. I understand Sean Legacy is a prodigy in the ring and might have a future in NXT or even the main roster. As for Eli Knight, I don't know him, but his skill level surprised me."
[7.0] "Another really good match on this show although I wouldn't say it was as good as the opener. Both Eli Knight and Sean Legacy were great here. Like LeFleur earlier on the show, this was the first I'd seen anything from Eli Knight. He's very impressive and has a bright future ahead of him. Sean Legacy continues to show that he's one of the more underrated and underused talents on the roster. There is no valid reason for him to still be on developmental's developmental. Absolutely no reason whatsoever. He's great and has proven it time and time again. NXT just lost 3 of their biggest names; go ahead and bump him up already. There wasn't anything here that stood out as bad aside from a few hiccups here and there. All that aside, it was still a very good outing from both these guys. 7/10 [***1/2]"
[7.0] "Good match. Knight and Legacy recently signed with NXT, filling in the void left by all of the recent callups. Both guys are high flyers and had themselves a very indie style match. Quick pace, lots of dives and flips. Admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of this style, but they do it well and this was a good showcase for the both of them. Legacy wins. 7.5/10"
[8.0] "Legacy & Knight are the future of NXT. These two genuinely gave us such a fun high-flying match mixed in with some hard-hitting offense from Legacy. I do wish we got a little bit more time to see what these two can give. [****]"
"This was a really fun showcase that showed why NXT's future is in good shape. Eli Knight and Sean Legacy both looked hungry and motivated, and the match kept a nice back-and-forth pace. Sean especially stood out, feeling like a guy ready to break out and and I can't wait to see him more on NXT"
[9.0] "A very fun little showcase that almost perfectly encapsulates that the furture of the brand is in very safe hands. A very good match elevated by the hunger of the men trying to prove more. Sean Legacy's inclusion in the ladder match would be highlight as I believe he's the regen of AJ Styles."
[8.0] "Another really good showcase match for Eli Knight this time. Sean Legacy has already had a taste of what life for him on Nxt will look like. Now that he's officially apart of the brand, it's time for him to make his claim to being one of the better guys in the division. This match was a good start to make that that claim. This was fun. ***3/4"
[7.0] "A good match between Eli Knight and Sean Legacy, a rematch from WWE EVOLVE. Good showings from both wrestlers in a competitive match for a big spot. Both are good additions to the NXT roster especially in light of some recent departures."
[8.0] "With guys like this in the NXT mens division, its difficult to worry about the work quality of the mens division degrading after these callups. Not sure if they have NXT Champion potential, but both these guys will play an essential role on weekly tv and I could see both guys be north american champ."
[8.0] "A crazy match between two former WWE Evolve stars. NXT needed such talent with so many stars leaving for the main roster. Knight and Shawn literally stole the show. The whole match was fantastic, and it kept me guessing who would win. The momentum shifted back and forth. Sean Legacy is a unique star who should shine even more this year."
[8.0] "These are two of the best evolve talents and I'm so glad that they are in NXT now. Eli Knight has so much left to do in WWE and I think he will have a really great 2027. Sean Legacy is a generational talent and I think he's definitely on track to become North American Champion this year."
